Familial harmony can never be guaranteed (more’s the pity…) but you can certainly give yourselves a fighting chance of such a situation with a stay at Camping Fagamis, a family-friendly site in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The fab location is the key here: Med swims and watersports are 15 minutes’ drive away (or a short bus ride) at Argelès-Plage; similar journeys will also take you to arty Collioure, to a waterpark or animal park, to historic bits around Perpignan, up into the foothills of the Pyrenees for a scenic hike or bike ride… In short, a lengthy list that should (fingers crossed) have something to keep everyone happy, meaning the only dispute mediation needed will be to sort a schedule for all the attractions and activities. The options-for-all theme continues back at base: active types can keep energy levels up with swims in the pool, time at the playground and games of beach volleyball, while folk who need a bit of downtime can snooze in the shade of the native umbrella pines and cork oaks. 喜欢 Campingplatz hatte alles was man braucht. Sanitär Anlagen waren sauber und die Besitzer sehr freundlich. WLAN ist nur am Haupthaus nutzbar, da man dort allerdings viele sitzmöglichkeiten hat ist das kein Problem.

喜欢 Wow what a beautiful camp site.
Everything was so clean and so well kept.
Spotless Toilets and showers.
The pool was so clean and all areas were spotlessly clean.
The whole site is very well maintained.
And an extra special part was being greeted by the owners Husband and Wife.
They were both so very caring and so welcoming throughout our stay.
The hospitality and welcoming was beyond first class and so genuine.
This is a camp site not to be missed by travellers Thankyou so much to the owners.

So, to planning that roster of outings… whether you’re planning it all out or just seeing how things go, it’s most likely that at some point you’ll be wanting to meander down to the Mediterranean at Argelès-Plage (15 minutes’ drive). The sandy beach here is a fab place to flop out, but there’s plenty of watersports and scuba diving action too for those who like their coastal days more action-packed. Speaking of action, there’s more of that for those who brave the toboggans, rope ladders and waterfall jumps at Canyoning Park (15 minutes) or prefer to whizz down the waterslides at Aqualand waterpark (20 minutes). Rather leave the antics to the animals? Aim for Turtle Valley animal park (10 minutes) or Saint-André discovery farm (15 minutes). Squeezing in a chunk of culture and history on your hols? Start at Château de Laroque des Alberes (five minutes), before pottering around Perpignan (25 minutes), taking in the Roman sculpture park and Gothic cathedral. Budding painters may like to take their palettes over to Collioure (20 minutes) to see if inspiration hits them in the same way that it did Matisse, Dali and Picasso.
