Hankering after a holiday where horse riding, golfing and fishing are all on the cards? Along with moseying around mountains and basking at the beach? Then crack on towards Camping Domaine Des Mimosas, a spacious family-friendly site in the foothills of the Albères Massif. Fill up on breakfast at the site’s restaurant (it’s open from morning through to late evening) before cavorting between coast and countryside at this spot set a couple of kilometres from the beach at Argelès-Plage, or grab bread and Viennese pastries to gobble on the go. Takeaway food’s also available – perhaps packing up a picnic for lunch might suit if you’re planning to be out all day at the local animal centres and waterparks? – and a mini market is on the grounds for stockpiling basic groceries. Give the car a rest by setting out on hikes or mountain bike rides from the site: trails start just by Camping Domaine des Mimosas and bikes are available to hire. Those sticking around the park might like to dip into facilities including a swimming pool with a spacious sunbathing area or get games such as table tennis, table football and pétanque on the go. Still on site as dusk falls? Make a beeline for the evening entertainment (themed nights are organised regularly in high season) or head into Argelès-sur-Mer town, a five-minute drive away, to investigate the nightlife spots and restaurants there.

喜欢 Loved the pool area and restaurant on site. All really well kept. Also the staff at this site are super friendly and helpful. Pitch was fine, level with some shade (it was hot 🔥 when we stayed)! Location wise was great, we cycled in to the local areas every day; there is a chateau to visit (we didn’t have time). We also got to watch the Bastille Day fireworks from just in front of the site on the hill which was incredible.

不喜欢 WiFi a bit dodgy dropping out all the time. Need to have some taps fitted to the water feeds on the pitches. Facilities basic but serviceable and hot water constant.
If you were to walk in to the local area this would be a reasonable distance, with bikes it was ideal.
