Take a moment to gaze at the pics of Camping La Peiriere and you might find yourself so taken with the leafy green scenery of this site surrounded by a 40,000-strong collection of trees in the Corbières wine region that you’ll start frantically packing your suitcase. And with good reason… this green Languedoc-Roussillon oasis has a lake (for no-kill fishing or simply view-admiring) and lots of shaded areas for chilling out in a peaceful spot between coast and countryside. It’s a 45-minute drive from Le Barcarès beach and on the edge of the Pyrénées-Orientales mountain range; spots for river swimming can be found a couple of kilometres away and the site is near a section of the GR367 path, a particularly scenic route leading from the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees. Horse riding and quad biking are nearby and e-bikes can be rented on site. For quieter days, stroll up to Tuchan, 10 minutes away, seek out one of the nearby markets selling local produce or settle in for serene times on site partaking in the homemade food and drinks at the bar and restaurant. Keeping the whole gang amused should be a cinch: there's a pool for splashing about in, plus a pétanque court, table tennis and table football. A visit to the mini farm on the grounds – where small guests can pet the animals – is always a winner and the grassy lawns are prime areas for running amok and getting stuck into the games available to borrow. Still more? Musical entertainment is organised on selected evenings on the open-air terraces, and there's wifi in the common areas for seeking out more outings.

喜欢 The excellent staff, very friendly and went out of their way to help. The pool was lovely and the overall setting very good.

不喜欢 We were unlucky that our stay coincided with the temporary closure of the bar and restaurant. Arriving after a long arduous hike, it was the last thing we wanted to hear. However, we got over the disappointment and went shopping in Tuchan, so it all worked out in the end.

喜欢 The only pleasant person on the site was the receptionist.

不喜欢 All other staff was very ignorant and one had the feeling that if one is not french they don't want you there.
The site was not very well thought out for families with children and dogs.

Nous sommes vraiment désolée si vous avez eu l'impression de ne pas être à votre place ici.
Nous avons en général de très bon retour avec notre équipe et leur amabilité.
Peut être que la barrière de la langue a créer une incompréhension entre vous ...

Au niveau des installations pour les enfants, nous avons un jeux gonflables, la piscine , la mini ferme,
ping pong, baby foot, boulodrome.
Nous faisons des animations éphémères ( soirée des étoiles , avec activités sur l'espace, pièces de théâtre , chasse aux trésors ... )

Pour les animaux nous les acceptons sur le camping / bar et restaurant. Seul les alentours de la piscine et le lac avec la mini ferme ne sont pas accessible ( oie, canard, chèvre ) afin d'éviter toutes attaques ou stress de nos animaux

nous proposons à proximité des spots de baignade en rivière proche afin de pouvoir aller vous baigner avec votre animal.

喜欢 Es un càmping muy tranquilo, el personal muy amable, para los niños es muy chulo con animales, inflables, columpios…
La comida del restaurante muy buena.

不喜欢 Los baños y las duchas horrible creo que los productos de limpieza brillan por su ausencia,la mala olor es insoportable, limpian con agua y a correr, a parte que estan bastante antiguos.
El càmping esta situado en una zona que cuando sopla el viento es muy fuerte si vas en tienda de campaña como nosotros se puede hacer bastante difícil.

nous sommes navrés que vous n'ayez pas apprécié vraiment votre séjour.
Certes nous avons un sanitaire assez vieux mais ouvert seulement en Haute saison du 10 juillet au 25 Aout et il est nettoyé 2 fois par jours le matin et en fin de journée . Il est en projet de rénovation.

Nous avons cependant un nouveau sanitaire refait à neuf au critère 4 étoiles un peu plus haut
qui lui aussi est nettoyer matin et soir
le sol est nettoyer à l'eau + produit sol + raclette et toutes les parois / toilettes etc sont désinfectées matin et soir . Le papier toilette est aussi fournis ( pas obligatoire dans un camping 3 étoiles )

En effet nous sommes dans une région venteuse, mais nous prévenons les clients dans quelle orientation il est préférable de mettre la tente. Mais c'est aussi pour cela que nous avons une belle région ensoleillée

不喜欢 Quite a walk to the toilets/ showers. We had to use two electric cables to reach our van and had to walk across/ in between 3 other pitches to run the electric.

Also carp care needs to be considered, there appeared to be no rules. Children fishing without the right equipment. There was a broken glass bottle in the pond. When we caught a fish it already had a barbed hook in its mouth. There needs to be some restrictions put in place!

Other vinicultural venues to voyage towards include Les Vignerons de Maury (30 minutes’ drive). Pick up a bottle to pair with the fresh seafood at Leucate (50 minutes), famed for its oysters, or tote your tipple and a picnic to the scenic Corbières mountains around the pretty village of Cucugnan (35 minutes). For days sans booze, head to the royal fortress of Château d'Aguilar (10 minutes) and the ruined Cathar castles of Château de Quéribus and Château de Peyrepertuse (both 35 minutes). The views from the latter are mighty impressive, as are those from the Gorges Du Verdouble (30 minutes) with its clearwater streams.
