Camping Les Rives de Paris

喜欢: Staff were friendly and helpful in providing information on the site and the best way to get to and take the metro to Paris. The pitch had plenty of space for our setup including an awning. Plenty of facilities, in October it was quite and peaceful on site.

喜欢: Friendly staff and fantastic facilities and activities. Great hedged pithces providing peace and seclusion even though it is a busy site. Great location beside the beartiful river with dog walk, and close to to a very beautiful nature reserve at the tip of the island. Peaceful yet very close to restaurants and the essential shops. Walking distance to a vet who was able to fit us in to give the dog his tape work tablets prior to travel back to UK. We definitely plan to return in summer months! A great base to go to Disneyland from, although if you have a 2 day pass it is less tiring to stay on the capervan carpark for the night between days. ( Disney land not for me and I will enjoy stating on the campsite next time!) Lovely to come back to the peaeful site to recover. Rain meant that muddy pitches became an issue but the staff made sure we were able to park on a blocked driveway without issue and still have a nice space with electric. This would not have been possible if the site had been busier, but was great this time.

不喜欢: We booked and paid in advance for 4 nights, but could only access the campsite and get token for water on 2 of those nights. The reception closes very early in the evening and travel disruption meant we had to call to alert them that we would need to get in after the reception closed. They kindly took note of the van registration number so that the gate would open, but did not tell us that there was also a pin code for when the gate does not work and for the pedestrian access gate and that we would not be able to get water until we visited reception. The early start the following day and late return due to unchageable plans meant that we could not get on to our pitch twice during our stay and this felt that the price was too high for the inconvenience and discomfort of this oversight. I would recommend putting pitch, water and waste instructions (there is a token needed that can only be got from the reception when open) and PIN instructions in an introductory email please. Many phone calls made to try and resolve the situation went straight to voicemail with no facility for leaving a message and an email went un-answered until we were back on site during open hours and could visit reception in person. Friendly but expensive to be stuck outside the gate for 2 nights of our stay.

喜欢: Really lovely staff that couldn’t be any more helpful. A 20 minute walk to the train station for visiting Paris. Was given some fresh eggs and also told we could help ourselves to the fresh veg that was grown on the site. Was a lot quieter than expected.

喜欢: Fact that it is close to, Paris, restaurants, town and the surroundings of the campsite itself. Friendly staff and good conditions of showers and toilets.

喜欢: There is a lot of room in the showers, spacious, hot water even at night, the place itself is beautiful, close to Paris, we took an Uber for 30 euros to the Louvre museum, also in Hamar - so it is convenient not to bring the car into the city. The bathrooms are overall clean, the place itself is very beautiful even just to stay there and walk around. It is important to note that we only stayed 2 nights and arrived in the evening and left the next night, so we don't know too much. All in all a good experience - if we return to the area we will close Shep Sha'ev.

不喜欢: There was a certain lack of communication - we didn't get the place where we needed to park, but - yes the gate opened for us by itself and there were free parking spaces - so there was no problem with that.
