Hidden away under a canopy of trees in the Bourgogne’s sprawling Forest of Bertranges, Camping de Prémery may be a peaceful spot but it has a multitude of family-friendly amenities. The food shop, bar-restaurant and evening entertainment take care of the daily practicalities so you can get on with having a good time with the kids. The grass pitches are all at least partially shaded by mature trees, with water and electricity readily available. The whole site is landscaped with colourful shrubs and flowers, and there’s a modern shower block with well-kept facilities. Dotted round and about the property are play areas and picnic tables for alfresco meals, but the biggest USP of a stay here is undoubtedly the Étang de Prémery, a small lake where you can snooze on the sandy beach, go swimming, rent a paddleboard or fish for pike and carp. You can also stay active playing tennis, ping-pong, pétanque, soccer or basketball. Don’t have rackets? All the essential gear is available on site. If you’d like to explore the leafy Nièvre region under pedal power, you can hire bikes here too.

喜欢 Simple, quiet site, clean but basic sanitary facilities. A pleasant walk into village past the lake. Mature trees gave good shade.

不喜欢 Only 2 wc’s plus 2 footprints, not a problem as the site was nearly empty.

喜欢 Bonjour,

De passage dans la région, nous avons décidé de nous poser chez vous. Très bon choix de notre part. Votre personnel est très compétent et souriant. Concernant la propreté des sanitaires il y a rien à dire .
Si seulement les usagers respectaient le travail du personnel !!!.
Bon courage et très bonne saison estivale.

不喜欢 Met alles geen schoon zwemwater speeltoestellen niet onderhouden en eerder een senior camping dan familiecamping zeker geen herhaling wij zijn ook vertrokken na 5 dagen ondanks we 14 dagen zouden blijven der is echter geen supermarkt of snackbar aanwezig zoals website beschreven staat

Walkers can spend a couple of hours exploring the Mardelles de Prémery (five minutes’ stroll), a wetland area with footpaths winding around ponds and peat bogs, where you’ll probably spot herons and coots as well as rare ferns. Cyclists have access to all the best local biking routes thanks to the free Loopi app; download it and you’re on your way to discovering secret trails through the Forest of Bertranges. Anglers, this corner of the Nièvre department is something of a heaven for you too, with fishing on site, trout in the Mazou at Narcy (20 minutes’ drive) and minnows, pike and perch in the intertwining branches of the Nièvre River around Urzy (25 minutes) for fans of live bait fishing. For a touch of cultural sightseeing, the cute village of Nannay (20 minutes) is home to an art walk displaying contemporary sculptures. Nearby, you can stroll along the River Loire and the medieval ramparts at historic La Charité-sur-Loire (25 minutes) before checking out the Romanesque-era Abbey Church of Notre-Dame, a stop on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella.
