Train your sights on this if you're pitching up in Burgundy and like hols heavy on the heritage: Camping Les Isles, in the historical town of Bligny-Sur-Ouche, is adjacent to the old Ouche Valley Railway, established way back in 1830 and one of the oldest railways in France. The line runs from Bligny-sur-Ouche along the Ouche river, through a limestone gorge and on to the small village of Pont d'Ouche – and its five-mile journey is all most pretty indeed. Right by the railway line, Camping Les Isles is set in a quiet riverside area surrounded by flowers, nature and greenery, in the Côte-d'Or region near the cities of Beaune, Dijon and Autun. The site has free wifi, a service area for campervans, a playground with a pétanque area, tennis courts and table tennis. Pets are accepted free of charge. Shops and amenities are about 500 metres away.

喜欢: The venue was well placed - attractive and the pitches were beautiful. Site staff friendly and helpful!

不喜欢: The water was a best tepid - do not stay here on a Saturday night as they have a disco which pumped techno music until 3am - unless of course that is your vibe!

喜欢: Friendly reception. Shady trees and generously-sized pitches. Ten minute walk to town with decent restaurant and boulangerie. Supermarket over the road.

不喜欢: Not the prettiest campsite.Washing facilities OK but v basic and tired. No plugs in sink eg. There is free ‘town’ Wifi but it is slow and you meed to reconnect fro time to time - we reverted to 3G but this ws also poor there.

喜欢: Level site with plenty of trees providing shade. The well maintained sanitary block is in the centre of the site, so easily accessible wherever you pitch up. This appears to be a popular site with everyone from young children to the elderly. Also all types of campers were there: cyclists, car + tent, small and larger camper vans. There’s a small supermarket (with petrol station) a few minutes walk away. A special mention for the man who manages bookings on site so efficiently and cheerfully!

喜欢: Warm friendly staff, lovely setting, handy for exploring the area but with a village and a supermarket in walking distance. Very close to motorway for a stopover on the way south and very reasonably priced. Lovely big pitches(choose your own) quiet and peaceful. Clear skies and soooo many stars. Toilet block was very clean and well presented. (net curtains and red geraniums)

喜欢: Camping Les Isles is a very clean place! Lovely activities for children with a park close by. I really appreciate the hygiene it has. As someone who travels a lot, I can safely say that this place is absolutely wonderful. The area is nice and quiet too, lovely views, clean air, the list goes on. Absolutely loved it here, would visit again! Quick summary: Pros: - clean area - clean showers - clean toilets - disabled facilities - leisure activities like parks - big area - nice and quiet, peaceful - lovely views Cons: - just that the electricity stations are slightly limited but still overall good if you're a small family!

当地景点

The Ouche Valley Railway, part of the old line between Epinac and Dijon, was one of the first railways to be built in France. Stop off at the hamlet of Pont d'Ouche at the journey's end to see where the Ouche river joins up with the famed Burgundy Canal, and to see if you can spot wild boar and deer emerging from the surrounding forest. Fishing, hiking and motorbike riding are all popular in the area, along with visiting the vineyards around Camping Les Isles's local village of Bligny-sur-Ouche. As with all of France, gastronomy is taken quite seriously in the region too; try the truffles and escargots as well as the fine wines and samples of cheese from local farms. Other tourist attractions nearby are Bligny-sur-Ouche's 13th-century church Saint Germain d'Auxerre, built within a medieval castle, and the Musée Papotte, telling the tale of rural life and trades in the area during the 19th century. Both are within a couple of minutes' drive.
