Camping Le Chêne

喜欢: We were met - having rung the bell - with a very warm welcome.
We were the only people on site at the time so ALL the facilities were at our disposal as we wanted them. The swimming pool was plenty big enough to accommodate several families and still have loads of room for us :-)
There is a microwave, fridge etc available in a separate room adjoining where the shower and toilet are (up by the pool) that were very clean with an open door welcoming you in to use them.
The proprietor was available but very discreetly out of the way which was appreciated.
The whole pitch is just amazing and very spacious.

不喜欢: Nothing to dislike, we had a lovely stay in the quiet surroundings with a very much needed dip in the pool to cool down over the two days

喜欢: Really quiet, not a lot to it but very relaxing

不喜欢: If you want all the amenities and lots of other campers, then this isn't the place for you. But if you want a really quiet, relaxed night, this is great. So the only heads up would be limited amenities, but this didn't bother me

喜欢: the site was fantastic, it was lovely and quiet. the host Danielle was brilliant very friendly and helpful, She didn't speak a word of English but we cracked the language barrier with the help of google translate. would thoroughly recommend

不喜欢: unfortunately only one toilet and one shower

喜欢: I felt like I was sleeping in a forest. This site is pretty much someone’s garden. There is a lot of land surrounding a beautiful house, pool, and pool-house. It is very basic, but it was very secure, as the whole property is surrounded by a fence and gates. The woman was lovely, funny, and very helpful.

不喜欢: All of the pine cones on the floor! Plus the tent pitches aren’t on level ground, so it took a while to find the best spot.
