Camping Le Moulin De Caudon

喜欢 Great location right on the Dordogne (2 min walk). Good for kayaking. Very welcoming hosts. Good bar with pizzas and small shop selling wine/essential food. Very clean pool. Lots of activities for kids eg trampoline/football/ping pong.

不喜欢 Quite a few pitches totally dirt, no grass! A little loud in the evenings some nights as it got busier, but not too bad.
No toilet paper in the toilet stalls, just one big one outside so have to take toilet roll before you go in, which surely leads to more wastage of paper than putting in stalls!
WiFi only works at bar.

喜欢 We very much liked our stay large pitches very quiet, location to the river. Restaurant on site was very good, my husband enjoyed the mussels, the best he's ever had, quiet rds for cycling, views of mountains was fantastic

不喜欢 Only complaint didn't like that there was no toilet roll. It was on a shared roll outside the cubicles

喜欢 Quiet, clean site.. very friendly welcome. Well situated for the river and walk to Domme. Loved the pool.

喜欢 A wonderful site. The owner is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The site is immaculate, the pitches large and shady, the morning croissants delicious, the pool crystal clear and the quiet river beach delightful. I was visited by a shy red squirrel which made my holiday.

喜欢 Situation a short walk from the River through an Orchard. The Plots: most have a mix of tree shade but still Catch a bit of Sun if you want that. Facilities good clean and near to all plots which are arranged in a circle around a central block. Most of all after the last site; it's quite.

不喜欢 Minor issue that did not really impact us but wifi is only available near the check in building.

喜欢 Extremely polite and friendly welcome with directions for nearby walks. Very quiet and extremely clean and tidy site in a wonderful area. Lots of amenities for such a small site including a new swimming pool. Toilets and showers a bit dated but immaculate. Lovely walk down to the river straight from the site. Lots of shade for those who need it.

不喜欢 It would be nice if they could grow a hedge or similar around the pool so you don't feel so exposed to the road. A few more pitches in the sun for those with solar panels but I guess in high season everyone is looking for shade. Drainage on some pitches could be improved but otherwise a really lovely site.

Emplacement très bien situé ..des sanitaires très propre..le reste du camping était très propre également..
Les structures avec les jeux et la salle de sport très bien ésûrement
Tout ce qu'il faut au niveau supérette et petite restauration
L'accueil vraiment très bien très chaleureux
On reviendra sûrement

喜欢 Friendly and welcoming hosts, scenic and central location, well equipped facilities

不喜欢 Some pitches are a bit muddy. The farmer next door uses an alarm that goes off frequently to keep birds off his field, but that’s beyond the control of the hosts!
