You’ll be hard pressed to find a site that’s closer to the coast than Camping Opatija – getting to the seashore from this peaceful Kvarner site is a simple matter of walking down 65 steps. Once you’re down there you’ll have a choice of sitting on the beach or strolling along to the harbour area for fishing supplies, boat trips and kayak/paddleboard rentals. Proximity to the water isn’t the only selling point of this place though – it’s also got a fabulous spot in the woods just on the edge of the village of Ičići. That means you’ll have a chilled-out natural setting to relax in, with plenty of shade and privacy and a quiet atmosphere (well, apart from the chirping of the crickets…) At the same time, you’ll still be able to walk to pretty much everything you need – including a supermarket, cafés and places to eat. Looking to explore a little further afield? Getting out and about should be easy enough, as the site is only a short way from the main road. It’ll take you about five minutes to drive to the elegant seafront town of Opatija and half an hour to Rijeka – or you could opt to stick with the natural views by heading up into the Učka Nature Park (15 minutes) for a hike. Dogs are welcome to join you on the pitches here, which are simple in style but have access to wifi, a washing-up area, toilets and showers.

喜欢 We loved the location of this camp site.
The site itself was a little tired , the pitches were a bit uneven but we were allowed to camp anywhere we liked and managed to find a spot with a fabulous view of the ocean.
The walk down to the sea was down lots of steps and across a busy road. Once there it was great. There were a couple of very nice bars at the water front and if you walk around the waters edge there were loads of places you could sit on the rocks and take a dip into the very clean looking sea.
There was a little harbour in Icici and a nice fish restaurant.
All in all it was a very pleasant 2 night stay.

不喜欢 The showers were lukewarm and the facilities were dated.

喜欢 Spousta místa je důležité projít celý kemp, ale pěkné místo se vždy najde. Dostatek WC a sprch, vždy čisté. Elektrika k připojení všude.
Trochu kempování na pankáče, rozlož se kde chceš. Místa nejsou nijak určená.
Dostatek stromů a stínu.

不喜欢 Německý dětský kemp součástí kempu a k nim přiřazena jedná společná budova s WC a sprchami.
Ne vždy tekla teplá voda ve sprše.
WiFi dostupné, ale přetížené.

不喜欢 studená voda v kempu, přístup k pláži znamená absolvovat sestup po schodek jak z rozhledny, pak přejít frekventovanou silnici a dojít k pláži. Při předčasném odjezdu zaplatit storno poplatek . doporučuji jen k přespání a hurá dál.

You only need to go down like 60 stairs and you are at the water.
I liked we could choose our own spot.
The center of Opatija is beautiful!! Worth going.

喜欢 Wunderschöner Campingplatz. Durch die Terrassenform fast überall Stellplatz mit Blick aufs Meer. Gleichzeitig viele schattenspendende Bäume. Ruhige Lage und sehr nah am Strand. Für die Kinder Basketballfeld und Spielplatz direkt in der Nähe.
Saubere Waschanlagen.

不喜欢 Leider ist unsere Hängematte abhanden gekommen. Vermutlich hat wer gedacht sie wäre vergessen worden, weil sie nicht direkt bei unserem Zelt hing.
Es gibt Wildschweine in der Nacht, welche sich über Essensreste und Müll her machen.

Come to this part of Croatia for the coastline? There are lots of ways to take it all in, including hiring kayaks or paddleboards (10 minutes’ walk), settling on Peharovo beach (five minutes’ drive) or making your way to Mošćenice (15 minutes) for a stroll around the pretty village before heading down to the beach for a swim in the clear turquoise waters. For a different kind of seaside view, make your way to Opatija (five minutes) for a stroll along the 12-kilometre seafront promenade – see if you can spot the 'Walk of Fame' on the high street too, filled with the names of various Croatian talents. Rijeka (half an hour) is primarily known to many tourists as a port city, but it's worth spending some time there to visit the castle, see the Roman Arch and wander around the modern art museum. Sticking to countryside pursuits, there are some lovely hiking and cycling trails in Učka Nature Park (15 minutes), including some that lead to a waterfall, an ancient garden or up to the tower on top of Mount Učka.
