Naturally it’s likely that much your focus will be on nights out around Zrće beach – but it’s worth saving a bit of energy for daytime outings too, for Pag is a very pretty place to spend a bit of time. Once you’ve washed away the effects of the previous night at Aquapark Novalja Gajac (five minutes’ drive), set out to see some of the island’s other beaches – watersports-packed Planjka (10 minutes) and peaceful Ručica (25 minutes) are popular picks, while those whose skimpy outfits demand a lack of tan lines might want to head to the naturist area at Sveti Duh (10 minutes). Pag town (20 minutes) is the place to go if you want to get further acquainted with the coastline – round-island boat tours leave from the harbour here, as do scuba diving expeditions. Guided hikes and mountain bike outings also head out from the town, and it’s got a little lace museum to explore if you just need a little breather from all the full-on activity.
