喜欢 The hosts are lovely, couldn’t do enough for us.
Location next to the M4 is perfect for using this as a base for exploring the Cardiff/Newport area

不喜欢 It really is next to the motorway. Bring earplugs !!!

喜欢 The owners are friendly, it is a short walk to the canal and easy access to the motorway. Toilet and shower clean.

不喜欢 I was asked to pitch between the toilet and another car, it wasn’t an actual pitch more a parking space so had no space to myself. I note some people in the reviews were placed on pitches in Crystal stables, I was advised to park on the yard on Northern Hay. The area was a bit scruffy and there was one toilet and shower for this site. The toilet/shower room had no lock on the door and no blind over the glass pane in the door window - which unfortunately as a solo female traveller made me feel uneasy so made the decision to leave. I’m not sure that the pricing reflects the facilities as there are others nearby that offer more for a similar price.

不喜欢 Wished there was a lock on the toilet door which included a shower

喜欢 Made my stay so enjoyable. Coleen and Sam were so lovely and helpful and work so hard to keep the site clean and well maintained . Such a lovely area with beautiful walks and scenery. Will certainly be visiting again as soon as I can. Thankyou for making my stay so pleasant.

Only 2 fencing lines to keep horses in field next to site, this caused an issue with our dog, especially with the sheep that were in the campsite facing off with him as well.

喜欢 Friendliest site we have every stayed on. Owners and everybody there was really welcoming and friendly. Nice and quiet on the field. Brilliant quirky little site

喜欢 The toilets were very clean, owners were absolutely lovely! Thank you again Sam for dropping us to the station!

喜欢 The friendly welcome and the help received. We had a water leak on the fresh water tank and our host got underneath with his spanners and plumber's mate, doing his best to tide us over until we got home.
Although a bit quirky, the small site had everything we needed and shower/toilet was clean
Very handy for a stop over by the M4

喜欢 Got the choice of where we wanted to stay, hosts were so nice and gave up advice on where to go. Sam offered to drop us to the train station and told us how to get straight into cardiff. Would definitely stay there again if we go back to Wales :)
