喜欢 Location was great. Lots of outdoor stuff to do. Cafe very nice (not cheap) facilities very good and ease of use. Would 100% stay again.

不喜欢 Anyone could park on electric hook up and plug in so if you get there, someone could be parked there. There needs to be a better and more secure way of using the electric. There was road noise but in fareness that did not bother me at all

喜欢 Reasonably priced, great range of walks on your doorstop, good facilities for toilets, washing up and showers.

不喜欢 Basically a car park on the side of a road with an open entrance to anyone at any time of day or night.

喜欢 The laid back non military feel unlike other camps where Hitler comes around telling you all to lights out and shhh past 10pm. If people want to old school camp, then expect noise and antics past 12 at night I am fed up of all these camp sights allowing security treat us like naughty prisoners ! This was a welcome stay where we was all left to just camp and get on with it ! It is literally wild camping with some added company and room to all act as adults and deal with own problems instead of being on a nanny camp. I really enjoyed my time and saw people arrive from all different backgrounds and places it was really really fun ! Don’t change it

不喜欢 Maybe a simple water tap could be brought up to the field … otherwise all is sound

喜欢 Beautiful views, beautiful place, very peaceful. Awesome bike/hiking trails. Clean toilets/showers. The rope swing on the top of the hill kept the kids entertained for HOURS!

不喜欢 Beware of the hill. The campsite is on a 35 degree incline. We decided there were 3 phases of this site, shock, acceptance and then laughing at the new people's faces as they arrived... But seriously, the hill is no joke, sleeping is difficult, cooking is difficult, sitting on a chair is difficult. Toilets and showers are a bit of a walk (no problem for the boys doing a number 1 as there's plenty of forest area). There are no set rules or staff so the residents get wild at night up to early hours of the morning normally so bring earplugs! Also rats around the bins as they were fully loaded day before collection so mind your step! There is also one toilet available which is in the same block as the showers so if someone's having a long shower you're having to wait a while. Would also be nice to have a water tap up on the hill.

喜欢 Liked the no frills, safe ish overnighter.

不喜欢 Road very noisy, everytime you go to nod off a vehicle flies by,
The area is not very flat unless you want electric hookup.

不喜欢 Got to the site with a motor home took one look and drove straight back out again , as a family with a small child this is not a safe and secure place to charge people to stay in a car park on a main road no gates
