Spectacular views south over Yr Wyddfa and other peaks in Eryri National Park from fully serviced pitches. A spacious farm site, and handily only 10 minutes’ drive off the main A5 on the Isle of Anglesey. What’s not to love about Ty’n Buarth Camping (open for the first time in 2026)?
Found in south-west Anglesey, this peaceful spot with lots of greenery about the place is surrounded by countryside and farmland. With Snowdonia in your sights looking south, turn northwards and you’ll spot cruise ships and the Irish ferries coming into harbour at Holyhead, 20 minutes’ drive away (handy if you fancy a day trip to Northern Ireland).
Both kid- and dog-friendly, Ty’n Buarth is a small, welcoming site with a fair list of amenities. For starters, all pitches have drainage and water connections as well as electric hook-ups, while the pristine, modern shower block has dedicated areas for men and women, plus a separate facility for disabled guests. There’s also a private parking area for visitors.
The site has a safe place for children to play (there are organised sports during high season too), as well as plenty of walking options for your four-legged chums. Out and about, you will unearth pubs and restaurants in Rhosneigr (10 minutes’ drive), a basics shop in Gwalchmai (five minutes), and supermarkets in Holyhead.
