Whether you're looking to tour the high hills of North Wales or want a simple island escape on Anglesey, look to Dronwy Caravan Park for a relaxed place to pitch up in a scenic rural setting. This 100-acre farm has a modern and stylish selection of pitches for tourers on the island's west coast, a mile from the small village of Llanfachraeth and a quarter of an hour's drive from Holyhead. This place is reassuringly civilised for somewhere so secluded – all pitches have access to handy features like a laundry room, a dog-walking area and chemical disposal points. Guests looking to minimise their impact on the environment can also charge electric vehicles at Dronwy Caravan Park before heading off for emission-free tours of Anglesey, Snowdonia and beyond. Down in Llanfachraeth there's a convenience store for last-minute provisions and a pub, while over in the larger village of Valley (five minutes' drive) there's a railway station, small supermarket and takeaways. 喜欢 We wanted a quiet site with good size pitches, nice toilet and shower block, and an area to exercise our dog off-lead. This site offered all of these things. Perfect for us.

喜欢 A very warm welcome was received on arrival to this adults only site. Very clean shower block with modern fixtures and fittings. Near open fields. Grounds were immaculate. Spacious pitch with hedging for screening. Excellent drainage. We will return!

不喜欢 No recycling facilities seen, only general waste
Showers can be quite hot and can't be adjusted

喜欢 Well set out site with large fully serviced pitches secluded by hedges.
Superb amenities block; building purpose-built and sympathetic to surroundings, scrupulously clean, modern fixtures, thoughtful provision of needs, radio in the toilets.
Owners approachable, friendly and helpful.
Super dog fields for off lead play.
Had a nice feel to it.

不喜欢 Walk to the village proved quite long and tricky so didn’t make it - hampered by aged, broken knees!

Very well organised site with amazing, clean facilities.

不喜欢 Shower temperature not adjustable and is very hot.
No recycling facilities

来自经理: Hi thank you for your feedback we are looking to replace the shower handles so we can adjust the temperature on them in the near future, Also we do recyle on the park we just put all the waste in the red bins provided then it gets collected by Humphreys waste recycling services then they recycle it at there facilties.

喜欢 Peaceful! Spotless! Friendly owners! Beautiful shower/toilet block!

不喜欢 Nothing really other than a drive over grey waste area is not provided! We didn't have much grey water anyway so just used a bucket! But even using a hose would be tricky as waste/grey water disposal drain was on the upper side of our van!

Elsewhere on Anglesey, explore the weird martian landscapes of Parys Mountain (30 minutes) where streaks of copper turn the land red, unearth the ancient past at the Roman walls of St Cybi's Church in Holyhead (15 minutes) and Barclodiad y Gawres burial chamber (15 minutes) or admire industrial relics like Llynon Windmill (10 minutes). Driving over to the mainland, head south to Dolbadarn Castle (40 minutes) for walks on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, or continue into the wilds to scale Snowdon itself (an hour and 10 minutes). For further impressive fortifications, look to west coast spots like Caernarfon (35 minutes), or drive north on to Penrhyn (30 minutes) and Conwy (45 minutes).
