Wake up and walk the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, or perhaps challenge yourself to a local hill summit. Based on the northwest coast of Anglesey, you’ll have lots of choice over how to spend your time from Llain Ffynnon Camping. A morning brew over the site's sea views? Taking the 15-minute walk down the closest beach for a quick dip in the sea? Or perhaps you’d rather go for a dog walk towards the mountains (after all, dogs are welcome here too). You’ll need a good pair of shoes, that’s for sure. One of the big perks of this site is that it’s easy to get to many places on foot. The local pub in Church Bay is only half an hour’s walk away. It’s also on the way to the rockpools at Porth Swtan beach (40 minutes’ walk) or the seafood restaurant and café close to the shore. You’ll get an idea of the splendid walks around these parts just from glancing at the views from this site. Based quite high up, Llain Ffynnon Camping doesn’t just have views over the northwest coast – you'll catch Snowdonia's mountains, Ireland, the Isle of Man and the northwest of England on a clear day too. The site is only a short walk from access points to several well-maintained public footpaths, including one with access to the Mynydd y Garn summit. If you need to pack some snacks and sandwiches before you go, there are two local food shops in Llanfaethlu or Tregele, 10 minutes’ drive from the site. Please note that this is a pop-up site, so there are only cold-water shower and toilet facilities available.

喜欢 Really nice site.
Has toilets, cold shower and kitchen.
The owner is a really friendly bloke, gave us advice on where to pitch the tent with it being windy when we were there that helped a lot!
Views are incredible.
Obviously no WiFi given the price but phone signal is good on the site.
All in all easily worth the price he charges

喜欢 The site was quiet at night with lovely views, which made it feel peaceful. The toilets and shower were basic but clean, and the staff I met were very friendly.

不喜欢 The booking process felt misleading, as it said there was only one pitch left but there were only three campervans in the whole field. I was also left confused about the payment — with the £4.50 deposit plus the £12.50 balance, I actually paid £17 for one night instead of £15. The shower was cold water only, and in the morning there was no water at all, which later came back on but made me wonder why it was turned off in the first place.

喜欢 Everything! This was one of the best sites we have stayed. The owner was so friendly and attention to the cleanliness of the facilities superb. You would see them several times a day checking all was OK. The description of the site was accurate from basic facilities to stunning views. We found wonderful walks and a pub (no food).

喜欢 Wonderful reception from the hosts, made to feel very welcome, stunning views, and beautiful coastal walks, amazing beach at church bay, fantastic local restaurants, ie (lobster pot) a real gem of a find to stay with our dogs, super easy check in and check out, toilets and facilities clean and tidy.
Owner happy to help with local amenities and places to see and do.
Would definitely recommend this place, if you are looking for dog friendly, peaceful beautiful area, this is the place.
Absolutely would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be coming back.

You might first spot the Goleudŷ Ynysoedd y Moelrhoniaid (The Skerries Lighthouse) from the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. Up close, after a chartered boat ride from Holyhead (25 minutes’ drive), the view is even better, and the birdwatching just as splendid. The seabird colony at Cemlyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Reserve (10 minutes’ drive) is pretty spectacular to watch too. A shingle ridge, lagoon and plants such as sea kale and sea campion are part of the highlight reel at this place – just the thing if you're a fan of spying on wildlife. Those of you who are planning on spending a lot of your downtime beside the sea will be happy to find that there are a number of beaches that are easy to get to from Llain Ffynnon Camping. In fact, the National Trust’s Traeth Ynys y Fydlyn is half an hour’s walk away, and there are caves and rockpools to rummage around down there. Further out, other gorgeous beach locations include Cemlyn Bay (15 minutes’ drive), Porth Trwyn (10 minutes) and Traeth Porth Wen Beach (15 minutes).
