Thrills in Rhyl or getting out to play in Colwyn Bay: both are in easy reach of Ty Mawr Holiday Park on the north Wales coast – along with gorgeous beaches, market towns, charismatic castles, and the inspiring scenery of the Welsh mountains. This buzzing, family-oriented park is great for kids: they’ll spend hours whizzing down the flume into the indoor pool and running around the large outdoor playground, and can join Sparky the rabbit and his Krew in the free kids’ clubs for all ages. There are also plenty of organised sports activities on offer. In the evenings, the whole family can enjoy a knees-up at the all-singing, all-dancing entertainment bar, where live bands and cabaret make a regular appearance, as well as fun theme nights and competitions. The various food options on site include plenty of takeaway choices at the Rendezvous diner and the Boathouse bar and restaurant. Modern amenities include toilets, showers and heated changing areas.

喜欢: Lovely site with superb facilities, Touring area was spotless and warden available to help out. Entertainment was fun with a small arcade. Swimming pool was very warm but needed to book a slot.

不喜欢: The warren touring toilet and shower block needs updating. They were clean but looked tired. Swimming pool changing room floor were dirty, lots of rubbish left in cubicle. 20p needed for lockers which staff did not supply change.

喜欢: The pitches were perfect size. Loads on site for children to do. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and tidy.

不喜欢: Potentially an amazing park however the beach was awful!! The sea was brown and no sand!! Another thing I disliked was our neighbour (clearly and long term pitch) strimming at 8am on a Sunday morning. As you can see it’s not the park that’s the issue it’s the terrible surroundings that let it down. If you like to stay on site then perfect park but if you like the sea/sand then avoid.

喜欢: Great park and entertainment. Good price and value. Clean, hot showers! Great location and access to shops.

不喜欢: Distance from the touring place to entrance. It was a bit of a walk to get to the front. No wifi.

喜欢: Weather was loverly the park was nice

不喜欢: Booked two adults no dog ! in own camper ,Put us within 15ft ft of the woof Park could smell dog poo constantly, and less than 5ft from horrendous bins that stank and rubbish all over the floor,seagull having fun with the rubbish ,hotest day of the year and had to keep windows shut, toilets filthy ,fish and chippery food was awful peas were like concrete chips were cold fish was OKish but full of bones and waited for 20 minutes awful customer service.
