No more worries about tent camping in the unpredictable Welsh climate for you. Simply book a stay at Ty Grug Pods in the Welsh Marches and you’ll be nice and cosy whatever the weather throws at you. Hidden away in hilly rural Radnorshire near the Welsh/English border, this compact glampsite is set on a working farm with spectacular views over the hills of the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog). The comfy, no-frills and off-grid pods offer fast-track accommodation without the bother of putting up tents, with a variety of bed layouts suitable for families, friends and couples. There are lovely views from the decking – what a spot for breakfast on warmer mornings – as well as a spacious roofed area for cooking and socialising, equipped with a communal stovetop, fridge-freezer, toaster and electric kettle, and a firepit for snuggling up with an alfresco barbecue. Whether you are an avid walker, pony trekker, mountain biker/motor biker, a birdwatcher or an astronomer hoping for clear night skies, Ty Grug Pods is in an excellent spot for unforgettable Welsh adventures, as all the above activities are available within half an hour’s drive.

喜欢 We loved our stay here, it has everything you need. Its beautiful scenery, its lovely and quiet. Nigel was very friendly and helpful, just called or text and he would respond or come and help us with whatever we needed. We will definitely return for a longer period, would highly recommend.

喜欢 Stunning views of the Welsh hills. No other buildings in sight so you have full peace and quiet. Clean and tidy. There are 3 pods and 2 bathrooms and multiple bbq spots. Plenty of space and seating areas so you don’t feel you’re intruding on other guests. Di the host was super friendly and helpful. We will be back next year. Thank you!!

不喜欢 You do have to take all your own crockery, pans, tea towels, bedding etc. Not an issue but something to be aware of so you don’t turn up without them!
