With Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) right on its doorstep and the beaches of Cardigan Bay less than half an hour’s drive away, Morben Isaf Caravan Park ought to appeal to those who can never quite make up their mind between hiking holidays and seaside breaks. But the real ace up Morben Isaf’s sleeve is its proximity (a mere five-minute walk) to the Dyfi Wildlife Centre – Cors Dyfi, where you can admire nesting ospreys, as well as a family of beavers. If even that five-minute walk sounds like too much effort, rejoice, for there is a nature reserve inside the park, and you might be able to spot raptors hovering in mid-air from the bird hide. Morben Isaf is five minutes’ drive from the market town of Machynlleth. In addition to pitches with far-reaching views of the Welsh countryside, it has a well-maintained toilet/shower block (including a wetroom for guests with mobility issues), a launderette and a communal fridge freezer. While the kids spend time in the playground (plus an area for ball games, complete with a hoop), the adults can find their moment of Zen, rod in hand, on the banks of the fishing pond. If you're a keen mountain biker, Coed y Brenin (50 minutes) has trails suitable for all levels; and if you are an expert MTB-er, you might want to have a go at the hair-raising tracks at Dyfi Bike Park (10 minutes). The bike-wash facility on site ought to get rid of every speck of dirt on your mudguards.

However, it was obvious that the booking terms and conditions hadn't been read which led to us having to remind you of a number of behaviour standards. 喜欢 Friendly, helpful and very tidy park with a great shower and toilet block. Easy to find and not too far from Machynlleth and Borth. The fishing lake looked nice and had I bought my gear I'd have given it a go, and the Osprey centre next door was excellent. The kids (8 & 10) had a great time riding their bikes around the park and at no time did we feel concerned for their safety.

不喜欢 Pitches are quite close together and the proximity to the main road was quite noisy on Sunday morning due to the number and speed of the passing motorbikes.

喜欢 verry clean, verry well maintained, a lot of different animals showed up, a lot of beautiful flowers especially around reception. The campsite felt like a gardener showplace of how pretty you can build a garden. A lake on the campsite too A lot of things to do information available at the reception. As more as i discovered i liked it more and more, originally just booked any place for the night and got really surprised by that place. Not just a campsite it is an experience. And the price for a tent was the same as on a campsite wich didnt even had a place to wash up the dishes. Would give 20/10 stars if possible.

不喜欢 premium wifi costs extra. the standart wifi is not enough for hd video streaming. price is fair, if you dont stay for a day only, wich i did...

喜欢 Clean tidy site, friendly staff, easy access off the main road, very easy to find, great facilities, clean shower block, all pitches fully serviced, must visit again sometime.

不喜欢 Cant really fault the place, the only annoying thing was the shower button going off too quickly.😂

喜欢 Lets start with check-in. Emails in morning of day. Really friendly & very helpful staff at check in. Lots of info to hand. Shower block brilliant, best I've ever seen. Lots of thought gone into this. Beautiful grounds. Lots of wildlife.(Osprey, Red kites,mice, little birds) Good walks near by. Nice scenery. Close to Machynlleth. Request bus stop outside camp (it does work, flagging bus down). We'll kept grounds. Love it there. 10/10. Oh a & wifi too.

After the ospreys of Dyfi Wildlife Centre, get to know the waders and ducks at RSPB Ynys-hir (10 minutes’ drive). With habitats ranging from woodlands and grasslands to saltmarshes and reedbeds, this vast reserve is also home to otters and lizards. Ynys-hir runs a series of activities, including a dawn chorus event and a bug safari. King Arthur’s Labyrinth (15 minutes) spreads underground just outside the town of Corris. A hooded boatman welcomes you on his vessel and takes you sailing on a subterranean river. During this cruise, you learn about Welsh legends featuring dragons (of course…), giants and other mythical creatures. With two beaches, Aberystwyth (25 minutes) is a popular destination in the summer months. When you’re all swum or body-boarded out, take the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway to the top of Constitution Hill for expansive views and a game of miniature golf.
