On your marks, get set, and CrinGOed to this friendly, family-orientated park sitting pretty in the mid-Wales countryside, under an hour’s drive away from the Welsh coast. A warm welcome from the Cringoed Caravan Park owners awaits: they've been working hard for over 15 years to perfect this family-run gem, leading to a well laid-out park set against spectacular woods. Comfort is the name of the game here: hot showers and electric hook-up is available, as are dishwashing facilities, a laundry, chemical disposal point and access to wifi. Kids have a play area and games room to keep them busy in weathers both fair and foul. Dogs are allowed all year round too, so be sure to bring the pooch along to take part in proceedings. For supplies, the village of Llanbrynmair (with its convenience store and homely pub) is a mile away, and the cafés, pubs and shops of Machynlleth are just over 20 minutes away by car.

喜欢 Fabulous location, the best dog walking field ever and a river to cool them in afterwards, lots of local walks (which we weren’t able to make best use of due to being there in the heatwave), very good showers, spacious pitch, super friendly cafe and small shop in the village. Everyone on site, owner, warden and residents made us feel welcome and the site was clean and tidy, mown short where it needed to be but still plenty left for wild flowers and nature. We enjoyed our six night immensely

喜欢 Very calm and peaceful stay, there's a stream right next to the tent area, my kids loved it. Owners were lovely and helpful. This was our second time, will go there again.

喜欢 Lots to do. small playground for kids, enclosed and well maintained land that was 5 acres for the dog to run around. The site was well maintained such as grass cutting and water hoses were easily accessible. Wash facilities and toilets were well equipped and showers wernt the push every 2 second type. Your greeted and took to your pitch and they explain were everything is and how to access the stream, dog field and so on but dont over stay. Just loved the fact it was all readily accessible and made for a lovely bank holiday weekend with the family.

不喜欢 Shower cubicles were really tiny and no disabled ones on site or maybe just a little bit more room but we managed fine for the weekend. No local shops to grab essentials but this worked for us.

喜欢 Owner came to great us and showed us our pitch which was amazingly placed, giving privacy and space around us, proper toilet block with showers plus amazing washing up facilities. The site is amazing and we will be looking to use again for our next trip in the area.

喜欢 What a beautiful campsite. Absolutely just what we were looking for to recreate childhood memories with our son. The river at the back was the perfect touch. Well kept site with the most pleasant owners, nothing was too much and Paul came to check how our visit was going whilst we were there. Showers amongst the best we've experienced on a campsite yet and the toilet blocks were always clean. We cannot wait to come back over and over again.

Join the 135-mile Glyndŵr's Way nature trail from the site: from farmland to moorland, forests to lakes and reservoirs – you can explore the best of the Welsh countryside and get your fill of cultural and natural history as you follow the footsteps of Owain Glyndŵr. For walkers wanting more, Snowdonia is also within easy reach. Prefer more sea than sky? Aberdovey (also 40 minutes by car) has watersports from the high octane to the high relaxing – sailing, rowing, canoeing, fishing… take your pick. The award-winning beaches are ideal for those perfecting the art of spectating too. Barmouth harbour, just under an hour to the west, also has uncrowded beaches for you to take up your spot in the sunshine.
