Ynyslas Nature Reserve and Sand Dunes Approx 5 miles away Ynyslas has three stunning miles of golden beach stretching from Borth in the south to the sand dunes in the north. It is a perfect location for walking, picnics and windsurfing. Home to many rare plants and animals, in the summer the dunes naturally transform into a colourful carpet of wild flowers including many types of orchid. Visitors are allowed to drive onto the sands and park near the visitor centre that has interpretation displays and toilets. A boardwalk through the dunes leads to the stunning beach. The nearby 18 hole golf course is one of the oldest Links courses in Wales. 3 Miles Away Borth Golf Club Set in a spectacular location on the sweep of Cardigan Bay, Borth and Ynyslas Golf Club was established in 1885 and has a strong claim to be the oldest course in Wales. This traditional links course provides a great test of golf all year round, as one would expect of a Golf Union of Wales championship venue.
