喜欢 Great place to stay close to all that you have planned to do.
The owners are really friendly and it was no bother showing us where all the facilities are on the site and happy to tell you attractions in and around Doune.
不喜欢 Nothing to dislike, we went when the temperature was below zero and the hook-up was 16amp so we had no issues with getting our van nice and toasty warm.

喜欢 Open year round. Was able to park on tarmac. There are showers (1 stall) & 2 toilets. Allow dogs.
不喜欢 At booking advised would be checking in between 7-8pm. Upon arrival, no reception area only a sign (had to use a torch to read) to check in at house that can be seen from this very small site (10 spots?), Decided to phone the number instead of walking up to a dark house, a woman answered ‘hello’ didn’t seem to understand what I meant about checking in, asked where I was, and didn’t seem to know that I had booked with “pitch up”. She asked me if I paid already and then asked if I was paying by cash or card, I told her card. She sent her son out to see to me, (he was very pleasant), we walked back up to the house for him to bring the debit card machine to the front door to pay my balance, a bit strange set up.
This site is on a very busy road next to a petrol station, can hear traffic at all hours. There is water only, no other clean up areas (sinks) or chemical waste. Thought the price of £30/night was a bit steep for 1st November, I did not want or use electricity (all other sites charge less for no electric use). In the morning I could clearly see the large house with many, what looked like “work” vans parked on there side. I Can imagine this site is very noisy during summer with their family(s) out and the site full - no privacy.

喜欢 Greeted by friendly owners and given tour of site. Good facilities very clean. Level pitches. Short walk to village services a plus point. Would definitely stay again.
