If you’re setting off for Stirlingshire with your eye on finding lots of alfresco activities, you should certainly consider Cobleland Campsite as a base. A couple of miles south of Aberfoyle, this peaceful park is in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, just on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. That setting means miles and miles of walking and cycling trails stretch out through the surrounding area, with fishing and golf close by too – and watersports, treetop trails, cliff jumping and the like for more intrepid guests. And in fact you don't have to travel far to get started on soaking up the spectacular scenery – you can simply stick around on site, where oak trees tower over the pitches and there’s a backdrop of pretty forest views with the River Forth running along one side of the site. Just beyond the river are paths taking you straight out into Loch Ard Forest for a woodland wander or a dog walk if you’ve brought your pet with you. The pitches at Cobleland are well tended and spacious, with access to all the essential amenities including a launderette, a washing-up area and chemical disposal as well as bathrooms with toilets, showers and disabled facilities. Aberfoyle (five minutes’ drive) has a small supermarket for supplies, plus several places to eat and drink.

喜欢 This was our first camping and we really liked the hospitality of the staff.well maintained site.Especially the toilets and shower room,eventhough it was a busy campsite which kept neat and tidy.

不喜欢 The pitch which allocated to us where bit hard,but managed to put up our tents

不喜欢 it would be nice if there was some washing up liquid and a couple of sponges available at the sink area. other campsites have this and it really helps. also a few picnic benches near the pitches would be great to have (and wifi, if it was available in the area)
