Fancy a game of golf? Teeing off could hardly be more convenient – Rosskeen 500 is located within the grounds of Invergordon Golf Club, with guests staying just a few minutes’ walk from the clubhouse (which even has clubs for hire should you not have your own…) As the name suggests, there’s another big selling point for this site, and that’s the location close to the route of the North Coast 500, becoming known as one of the world’s best road trips. The A9 (which forms part of the route) is less than a mile away, and there’s also a railway station about a mile away in Invergordon town centre for those travelling by public transport. Being just on the edge of town is handy, as it puts you within walking distance of its shops, takeaways and places to eat and drink. For even more convenient drinks, there’s a bar in the clubhouse. Prefer to sort out your own food and drinks? There’s a small kitchen area in your geodesic dome accommodation, with a coolbox, microwave, kettle and toaster. Take whatever you’ve prepped out onto the private deck to soak up the views over the golf course up to the mountains, or cosy up inside and admire that same scenery through the dome’s huge window. There’s comfy seating to help with that, and a woodburning stove to keep things nice and toasty. Also inside the dome are two beds (one kingsize and one double) and a breakfast bar. Outside, there’s a private bathroom and a seating area with a firepit for those lovely evenings stoking the flames as the sun goes down.

喜欢 Beautiful place to stay. Dome has everything we needed. Comfortable beds, great quality bedding. Kitchen area is kitted out with crockery cutlery kettle toaster and a pint of milk was provided when we arrived.

Dome has a wood burning stove with a supply of logs - very cosy. Outside has a gas BBQ, seating area and a fire pit.

Bathroom is a few steps away from the dome and is modern with a great shower.

We stayed one night but could have happily stayed longer. It’s very peaceful and quiet, the dome backs onto the golf course.

Great communication with owner. We thoroughly recommend!

喜欢 The most beautiful setting, peaceful and scenic with local amenities just minutes away.
The dome had everything that we required for our stay both inside and outside. The log burner was excellent and heated the dome very quickly at night time when the temperature dropped a little. The beds were extremely comfortable.
Outside we made great use of the fire pit and seating in the morning cooking our breakfast on it while the sun came up.
We were two adults and two young children and there was ample room for all of us.
Everything was spotlessly clean and the private shower room/toilet was great.
A wonderful family getaway with adventures to remember! The perfect mix of the great outdoors mixed with the comforts of home.

We will definitely be returning, hopefully soon!
