喜欢 The lovely welcome. The toilets and showers were clean, modern and warm. The site was well maintained. Cafe with cakes and drinks. Breakfasts and pizza 5.30/8 some nights. The friendly, if slightly cheeky, campsite chickens. 1.9 mile walk into the town. Close to Aldi, m&s, b and m and mountain warehouse.

不喜欢 We were sold some logs on our first evening despite the shop being closed, but another staff member then said no to us buying some the following night… a bit confusing. Top tip… buy yours from b and m on the way!

喜欢 The setting was obviously amazing being so close to the mountains. The site was well laid out and the toilet block was central. The cafe was open most of the day and after our jaunt up Ben Nevis, we got a well deserved and delicious pizza. Overall a lovely and well kept site.

不喜欢 Impersonal, never met the manager as arrived after hours, they didn't come to check all was ok. The Wash me machines out of order. The server in café told us we had to ring or email the no on machine. That is not our job but the camping site's.

喜欢 Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Lovely, helpful staff on reception.

不喜欢 People/whole families constantly walking over our pitch although they are clearly marked out. They actually walked under our awning when we were inside our motorhome although being asked not to when we were sitting outside.
The toilets close between 9.30 - 10.30 for cleaning. This is a large site with lots of tents as well as caravans and vans. Not a great time to close the toilets.
Some of the toilet area /showers were covered in mud and really untidy with toilet paper lying in clumps on the floor. I had to clean a shower stall before using it as the floor was filthy. My husband saw a man cleaning his muddy shoes in a shower stall in the gents. Perhaps extra signs might help but you cant always ensure people will clean up after themselves.

Very accommodating when we had car trouble and couldn't arrive at the time we should have done, held our pitch and was more than happy for us to arrive the next day.
Despite the site being very busy, it still felt peaceful, the electric tent pitches are right along side the river down a car free path and it felt like we were the only ones there at times despite being surrounded by people!

不喜欢 Cleaning the toilets at 9-10am just as people are wanting to leave for the day, caught us out more than once, when you are leaving on a 2hr+ drive, and finding the toilets closed, yes its frustrating.

Toilet paper dispensers being the type that if you are not careful, rip the paper and you can't get any more out, one morning there was one toilet with paper (occupied) leaving a queue, inconvenient but it did happen often.

Showers being on an extremely short timer, just made showering awkward.

Not the sites fault but inconsiderate campers, people setting up tents in the electric pitches parking spots, motorbiking campers dumping their bikes in the middle of a foot path to the electric pitches, just have more consideration for others please!

(none of these are deal breakers, I'd go back in a heart beat, just niggles!)

喜欢 The facilities- toilet, shower and washing machine on site. Was kept clean regularly and quite new. Shower head was nice and pressure was good. I liked that you got quite a big shower cubical to yourself and enough room to hand towel and bag and get changed etc. there were no times when you had to wait to use the facilities as there were plenty. Restaurant was handy to have and opening times were generous.
Easy to set up and set off.

不喜欢 Not being able to park next to the tent was quite inconvenient especially since we needed to offload all our equipment and reload a lot of things. A bit far to walk to the toilet/shower. We were at the back of the campsite with electric pitch.
I was worried my niece and nephew had to walk there in the dark. The caravans and pods which would have had those facilities in were closer to the facilities which in my mind didn’t make sense.
The laundry services were incredibly expensive to use which was unfortunate.
We weren’t sure if the tap next to the electric hookup was actually drinking water so would have been good to have a sign or be told where we could get drinking water from.
Again the parking would have been better and it was difficult to move the car when it rained on the mud.
Also there wasn’t wifi at all?

喜欢 The facilities were great. The site was very well looked after. As you opened your tent door you were greeted by a gorgeous loch and a scenic background.

不喜欢 Our pitch was slightly sloped but we made it work.
