If peaceful woodland getaways are very much your cup of tea, The Airdit is the place to be. These adults-only motorhome and campervan pitches are on the edge of an ancient woodland, surrounded by centurion beech trees and coppiced sycamore and 20 minutes’ drive away from St Andrews and Dundee. Great views are guaranteed over the woodlands and the Fife countryside, as are great woodland walks in the immediate vicinity. The remote destination has plenty of privacy; simply pull in, park up and admire your vantage point over the neighbouring fields. To make matters even better, the Airdit has great access to the Fife Core Paths network. The nearest pub is in Bulmullo, just five minutes’ drive away, and there are shops in Cupar, 10 minutes’ drive away. Facilities on each pitch are far from frugal and include a water standpipe, 16-amp electric hook-up, fairy lights, a firepit and comfy chairs… what a set-up to plan your outings across Fife, perhaps beginning with the many golf courses of St Andrews or museum hopping in Dundee.
