来自经理: Thank you for your review. As explained to you on arrival we had an issue with the WiFi and we were awiting the engineers fixing it. This was caused by someone reversing their motorhome into the transmitter box and damaging it beyond repair. We did apologise for this but it was outwith our control and you could still get WiFi if you came the few meters to the camping field to pick up the signal from there. The engineers have been on site yesterday and today fixing the damage.

Love the short walk to the shore for a swim!

来自经理: Thank you for your review. As we explained when you were on site one of the wifi antennas has been damaged, this was caused by a customer reversing into the antena pole in the area you were in. We are awaiting the engineer coming to replace the damaged equipment. We hope this will help fixed soon.

喜欢 My partner and I are new to camping and so far we have had two three night camping trips both at this location. The first was with friends borrowing their equipment to see how we got on, and the second was with our own tent and kit and were going to book again in September with out nephew and his mum. We wanted somewhere we could put our new tent up without any pressure and figure things out in our own time.

We love it here, its so quiet and peaceful. Far enough away to feel ike your away from home, but close enough to civilisation to pick up a few bits, have a meal and a drink if you fancy it.

The staff are lovely, explained what was what when we checked in and gave us the WiFi details and said to just pop into reception if we needed anything. We were told to just pick a spot on the grass which was fine by us. Others arrived and did the same, tents were sensibly spaced out. Other campers were friendly offering people help if they were struggling and we had zero issues at all.

Night time came and people respected the 10pm quiet time and we had a really good night's sleep.

We used the little shop (which has everything you could need if you forget something) for some drinks and chocolate bars which I expected to be quite expensive, but I was really surprised when it wasnt, really fairly priced and cheaper than my local corner shop.

The facilities are brilliant and very clean and tidy. Male and female toilet black and showers constantly spotless. Theres a little laundry room if you need it with washing machine and tumble dryer and iron all coin operated and a washing up area to do the dishes in which is neat and tidy.

We would recommend this site to anyone and it's our goto site if we fancy a quick break.

喜欢 Very close to Loch Lomond, water was also available directly at the pitch next to the electric hookup which made setting up just that much easier. Clean facilities and good value for money.

不喜欢 The lights in the showers are automatic so if you are showering with two young kids, be prepared that some of your shower might be in the dark. I think there would have been enough time for a single quick shower.
Instructions on arrival came through via email because we missed reception however on the last day; we received some snarky comments about our vehicle being on the grass and the grass being ruined (which it was not, no signs of a vehicle even being there right next to the awning) but there were no instructions on the email or signs around the site to state to park your car in the car park which if we had known would happily have done but did not need the snarky comments when we were happy to move it once made aware. We put it down to the employee having a bad day as all our interactions before this had been lovely and welcoming.

来自经理: Thank you for your review. The lights in the toilets and showers are motion sensors as unfortunately most customers did not switch them off when finished. I will ask the electrician to check the timer on these as it should not go off when someone is moving around in the block.
We did have to ask you to move your large pickup type vehicle off the grass at the side of your awning (this has left some small ruts and damaged grass) and also your visitors car off of one of the other pitches which was awaiting the arrival of another customer. There are signs up which tell everyone that we don't allow vehicles of any sort to be parked on the grass. This would also have been explained to you face to face but unfortunately you arrived late once reception was closed. I will make sure this is added to our emails for Late Arrivals.

喜欢 Very nice location close to Loch lonond. Could swim close by also. Nice facilities.

喜欢 Flat spacious pitch. Plenty of room between pitches and fresh water on the pitch. Lovely quiet site. Short walk to the loch.

喜欢 Friendly welcome, good location, quiet site, food onsite was lovely, hot modern showers, well stocked shop, 5 minutes walk to Loch Lomond.
