不喜欢 Really disappointed in this site. No toilet roll in the toilets at any time and trying to get hold of reception was a nightmare. Upon checking out we told the owner we had a wedding to go to and would they mind if I came back to wash and dry my hair about 2pm. They agreed and said not a problem I could use the plug in the rest room. We come back, shower and only when my hair was soaking wet, they shouted put the window that I could no longer use their plug socket. I reiterated I had a wedding and why didnt she tell me BEFORE I washed my hair. I also asked if I could pay to hook back up to the electric with our campervan for 30 mins but they declined. So now im left driving to a wedding with soaking wet hair. Really bizarre behaviour, why tell us yes to then tell us no... id have just washed it earlier and risked the curls falling out if that's the case

喜欢 Beautiful campsite. The ground for pitching was perfect. It rained heavily, and it was still not boggy. Great for the ducks. Lovely lake and very handy for walks in the Galloway National Park. Close to Newton Stewart for supermarkets and pubs.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike. Have been to many campsites and this one is really good. There were many migies but that was expected as we were in a National park. The shop could sell insect-related items. Fly spray for inside the tent. Glad I brought mine.

喜欢 Nice, quiet campsite within driving distance to the coast and lots of lovely walks. Good facilities and clean.

不喜欢 My only complaint would be that electricity isn't included in the pitch fee; it really should be for £40 per night.

喜欢 Beautiful campsite with a duck pond. Great laundry room, handy bothy to escape the bad weather. Close to Glentrool Visitor Centre via a lovely Kindness Trail lined with painted pebbles.

不喜欢 Disliked the midges. Unfortunately there are no pubs/restaurants within walking distance, had to drive to Newton Stewart.

喜欢 Nothing

不喜欢 Pitches were water logged, no suitable pitches for a trailer tent, not disability friendly as you are not allowed to drive to your pitch. No even ground, absolute swarms of midgies make it impossible to stay. Emailed to complain and have been ignored. Terrible customer service. Also there is no wifi as advertised.

喜欢 I would advise anyone who has a larger tent not to book here.

不喜欢 We arrived after paying for electric grass pitch to and requesting that the 2 bookings be pitched together to be told just pitch were you like. There was tents in front of the electric boxes that were not using or paid for them which resulted in myself and niece hook up not reaching any electric. The area on which we pitched ran at a slop and was water logged.
