喜欢 The site has it's own lake and is a very peaceful walk around it , the staff are very friendly. And the bar is a nice little place to have a drink. The site it self is quite hilly though.

不喜欢 They are revamping the shower, toilet block, so they have got a porta cabin which is ok apart from it's not being serviced regularly. So a lot of times it is out of toilet paper and generally in a mess , not pleasant at all.

喜欢 We decided against staying here as when we read some recent reviews about the cleanliness of the toilet block and the fact that the police were called due to bad behavior

喜欢 The staff, the site generally and the location. Good sized pitch well maintained. Lakeside pub friendly and reasonably priced.

不喜欢 The porta cabin showers and toilets were clean but I can't imagine them being adequate when it's busy. Only one washing up sink.

不喜欢 Toilet block was shut so had a portacabin which wasn’t ideal but understandable so would like to see the toilet block fixed asap also could be doing with some of the pitches being levelled out as on quite a slope especially when youv got a big caravan like I have

喜欢 Absolutely loved our stay - very concerned after reading reviews but could not fault the staff or facilities!

There are temporary facilities while maintenance is ongoing with main wc block but they were cleaned regularly and very much up to standard.

Staff helped immediately when we needed help with pitching up as the site is a little unlevel but provided blocks for us to help level out our caravan on the pitch.

Electric was also good no issues at all there. The entertainment was great although the bar wasn’t busy.

The price for our stay in the school holidays was incredibly low! Couldn’t fault the cost for what we experienced on our four day stay!

不喜欢 There was nothing we disliked while staying here. Prices at the bar were a little higher than expected but seeing how quiet it was in the middle of the school holidays where you would expect it to be really busy was maybe the reason for that.

不喜欢 Went to use the toilet and they were both covered in poo, only one toilet had toilet roll , we arrived on the 20th July and the last time they were cleaned and signed off was the 18th, the shower cubicles were both filthy, these issues were raised with management, we planned a two night stay but decided one night was enough for my wife and I.

喜欢 Pleasant site walkable distance to Moffat

不喜欢 Pitch site was not clear. The grass had been cut and the ladies showers were covered in it to the point that one shower drain was blocked and it was all over the floor. No one had checked them that day but had a broom in the showers would have helped as I would swept it up.
