Craving Scottish scenery alongside a hefty degree of luxury at your accommodation? Welcome to Milldown Glamping, less than five minutes’ drive from Coldingham Bay in the Scottish Borders. From the private hot tubs outside each wooden pod to the open-plan interiors with proper beds for a decent night’s sleep, all is designed for your relaxation and cosy comfort, so you can enjoy an outdoor holiday without sacrificing any creature comforts. As well as the ensuite showers, these stylish pods feature a streamlined, modern and well-equipped kitchen, a dining table and comfy sofa for lazy evenings in front of the TV – plus a bunch of board games to help keep you entertained. Moving outside, you have far-reaching views across the surrounding fields from your private garden space, in which you can chill while stargazing from your hot tub or grill up alfresco suppers to eat at the picnic table. If you’re in need of barbecue supplies, there’s a butcher in Coldingham village (five minutes’ drive), and for days out on the beach, the peaceful sandy stretch at Coldingham Bay is less than 15 minutes’ walk away.
