Oban Holiday Park

喜欢: The location is close to Oban although the road is a very narrow single track with passing places. Although near the water there are very limited views due to trees and high ground. The best views are now taken by chalets and pods. There is a nice dog walk through the woods.

不喜欢: We were warned the water was undrinkable and it turned out to have a brown tinge and definite bad taste even after boiling. We bought water from Tesco. Many of the electric points on level ground were not working. This left only a few electric points on sloping ground which made pitching up difficult. There were no blocks available. There is only one toilet waste point which is a long way from the ends of the site. The drains near the toilet block smelled and I pity the people camped close by. There was no specific tap for filling water containers. The sink taps for washing up needed to be used. The recycling bins were filled to overflowing and not emptied during our stay. With no pitch markers, people pitch at random where they choose. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are all mixed together. No-one comes to check and the whole site has a very disorganised feel. The phone signal is rubbish and the only wifi is near reception.

喜欢: Staying in the camping pod at this picturesque campsite in Oban was truly a delightful experience. The cozy pod provided all the comforts of home while still being immersed in nature. The surroundings were serene, with stunning views of the lush greenery and peaceful ambiance. The facilities were well-maintained and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect getaway for a relaxing retreat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in the beauty of the outdoors.

喜欢: die Lage sowie Aussicht war sehr gut, Nähe zu Kühen für uns optimal, durfte seinen Platz frei wählen, trotz später Ankunft waren die Informationen für uns hinterlegt, Sanitärbereiche sehr gut, neues Wassersystem wirkt nachhaltig und gut durchdacht

喜欢: Lovely views from the site. Seeing the Highland cows up close for feeding was a great experience! Well equipped shop and friendly staff. Everything was well kept and it was peaceful.

不喜欢: On the first night the women's toilets were really filthy however staff were there cleaning first thing the next morning and they remained clean afterwards so think this was probably disrespectful guests rather than the sites fault - they certainly were on top of cleaning after this.

喜欢: A very warm welcome on arrival. Location was fantastic, beautiful scenery.

不喜欢: Campsite area by the water was very solid ground beneath the grass, unable to peg the tent down properly we had to search to find a softer area to set up. Toilet/Shower facilities very poor for the size of the campsite only 2 toilets and 1 shower in the ladies (it was a busy weekend as well) and it was a very small area to get changed and washed and quite at trek especially at night for the toilet as it was up quite a steep hill and located mainly beside the static caravans (who already have these facilities) would be so much more convenient to have them located nearer the camping areas and more showers at least.

喜欢: Great location. Well maintained and clean facilities and camping area. Stated we would be late (after reception closed) after a long and stressful drive worrying we wouldnt make it in time we arrived to see staff had sorted everything for our arrival.

喜欢: The location was stunning. The camping pod was warm, comfortable and decently equipped. The site was well spaced out. Had great facilities and friendly staff

不喜欢: The showers could have been cleaner. It was recommended that the water be boiled before drinking. There's a natural spring near by but it was currently undergoing treatment.
