Found on the northernmost tip of spectacular Loch Lomond, Ardlui Holiday Home Park is a small site with a range of accommodation, all of which overlooks the water. The park sits in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, making life a breeze for walkers and bikers keen to get out on the hills straight from the pitches. The park is also a handy overnighter for anyone ‘doing’ the West Highland Way, which runs along the east side of the loch between Fort William and Milngavie. The walking route is accessed via a ferry from the Ardlui Marina (five minutes’ walk). The Ardlui Hotel is only a few steps away, offering quality homemade food in the cosy restaurant, and a plethora of whiskies – just what you need as a pick-me-up after a day out in the bracing Scottish air – and beers in the welcoming pub, where you can play pool, fire up the jukebox or cuddle up around the log stove in winter months. There are also lively entertainment nights throughout the year in the hotel.

喜欢: The views were gorgeous. Enjoyed feeding the ducks and swans.

不喜欢: Staff (a man and woman who live on site) decided to have a loud party til after 3am right next to our pitch. They let their dogs a Rhodesian ridgeback and a blond lab run loose who came into our area. We noticed at least once she didn’t clean up after dog foul. I also didn’t like the communal entrance to the shower block. And the jet skis were loud. We left early and will NOT go back!

不喜欢: Be aware from this site you will either have to drive to go for walks or site see or there is a small boat that will take you across the lake to link up with a walking trail however the Falls of Fallach are a short drive away

喜欢: Great location next to the loch. Good food in the bar restaurant. Clean site with showers. Easy to get too.

不喜欢: Pitches are very close together, no shop on site, nearest is 5 mile away. Dogs roaming free and no one picking up the mess. Very nosies with young folk. Very unhelpful staff.

喜欢: The reception guy was very welcoming if and helpful,the views are some of the best on earth not just Scotland,the hotel pub was lovely although very expensive,the stars at night are incredible,no light pollution.

不喜欢: NO WI-FI WHATSOEVER.cabin mattresses are way too thin in cabins,no shops.

喜欢: Super friendly staff, mega helpful and genuinely wanting to make your stay the nicest possible. Facilities are luxury in a camping world scale. Place is really being looked after and views are amazing.
