喜欢 Very great place by the lake, the kids swim a lot, the environment is very calming, lots of space for a tent. Affordable price, we have been here many times and will definitely come back.

不喜欢 The kitchen and toilets and showers need more cleaning.

喜欢 Fantastic Camping Experience!

I recently stayed at this campsite and had an amazing time. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the location was absolutely stunning—right in the heart of nature. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a family getaway or even a solo retreat. I’ll definitely be coming back!

不喜欢 A Bit of a Letdown

While the campsite itself was beautiful and the staff were great, one thing really took away from the experience: some guests were letting their dogs roam around off-leash. Unfortunately, the pets were relieving themselves all over the site, including near communal areas, and it wasn’t being cleaned up properly. It made the environment feel less pleasant and created hygiene concerns. I hope the management enforces leash rules more strictly in the future so everyone can fully enjoy their stay.

喜欢 Owner Sean was very friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere on the beatiful Lough Allen. Super Location - easy walk into Drumshanbo village and walk the blue way from acres lake to Leitrim village .
Good facilities, toilets, showers +shared kitchen.. A little tired perhaps but definitely up to the job
Boat and kayak hire available on site

喜欢 The campsite loved the lake we had a great weekend pity the weather but always expected in the west of Ireland but we didn’t care. The toilets and kitchen was very clean

不喜欢 There was no one at reception it was locked and no answer from any of the numbers listed so we pitched up ourselves and didn’t even see anybody until the next day. Toilet facilities and shower facilities could be better and cleaner.

不喜欢 The centre reception area itself was chaos when I went in. Over run with kids no one on reception, only a contact number on the front door. It was about 20 minutes before anyone showed up and during thus time we drove around the site. It was very run down with no designated pitches and wet mucky hard-core. We left without staying

喜欢 I had a fantastic and relaxing weekend at Allen Centre. The campsite is quiet and simple, offering the perfect escape in a natural, green environment. Since it was close to the end of the season, there weren’t many people around, which made it even more peaceful and comfortable.

The instructions for self check-in were clear, and even though there was no staff on site, I had no issues. A mobile number was provided in case I needed anything, but everything was smooth and easy. I also appreciated the trust-based payment system—no one rushed or pressured me at any point.

Overall, I really appreciated the serene environment and the chance to unwind. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax in nature!

不喜欢 While I had a great time at Allen Centre, I did notice there were a lot of expired items in the fridge. It would be much better if these could be cleared out regularly to keep things fresh for future guests.
