喜欢 We enjoyed the simplicity and peace of this beautiful forest site. It was October and the leaves were golden and russet. After such a dry fine summer, the chestnuts and acorns were huge!

喜欢 Large pitch with plenty of space. Loved being so close to the trees. Plenty of toilets, washing up facilities, hot water and recycling / waste bins. Really friendly host.
不喜欢 I pitched my tent to the right of the main entrance. It was a great spot but there was a lot of background road noise

喜欢 Beautiful site with plenty of flat spaces amongst the trees. Facilities good and very helpful wardens to greet us and give advice. Lovely walks into the forest next to the site, also walkable to Marlborough which in nice to visit for a bit of retail therapy! Great cycling around here, but best to return via the forest route to avoid the big hill.

不喜欢 No showers (very clearly stated when booking) but makes longer stays impractical which is a shame as we loved the place .
