喜欢 Location is perfect, fabulous views, lots of glorious walks straight from the site. Harbour, pebble beach, pub, cafes short walk down the lane. Quiet & peaceful, just the sound of the sea & the birds, this is a camping field with one clean compost loo & one cold water tap - proper old fashioned back to basics camping! It's a farm field on the edge of Exmoor so does slope, but there are flatter areas, so choose carefully if pitching on a slope bothers you. I think you could pitch anywhere & still have a sea view. There are public flush toilets with hand basins 5 minutes down the lane in the carpark if you prefer. No WiFi, but I had great phone reception (Lebara). Personally, this site was perfect for me, has everything I want/need. Owner (Matthew?) super friendly & welcoming, checks site & loo every day. Loved it & will definitely return.

喜欢 Location was great for me on The Coleridge Way. Having to climb out of Porlock Weir up and over the A39 meant that extra distance from Porlock was a bonus! It is only one step away from wild camping. 1 composting toilet, 1 cold water tap and that’s your lot, for £9 for a hiking tent I am not complaining. It is a sloping site and quite exposed so be aware of that. But really close to pub food, cafes but no supplies I think.

不喜欢 For £9 per night, per hiking tent, there was nothing I disliked.

喜欢 Convenient location for SWC ramblers right next to the path so no need to detour after long day hike.
Fantastic view across Porlock marsh and hills. Close to Porlock Weir pub, souvenir shops and b&bs yet secluded and very quiet. It's basic (just compost toilet and bins) but very clean.
Very nice and helpful host.

喜欢 Nice simple tent in a field campsite with stunning views of the hills and coastline.
Great location with lots to do all around, lovely pub and restaurant less than 5 minutes walk down the road.

喜欢 Peaceful campsite with beautiful views. Lovely spot. Easy walk into Porlock Weir and to the beach. Owner very friendly and helpful with recommendations.
Would definitely recommend.

喜欢 Quiet, open field. Good communication with a friendly host. Amazing view and very short & safe (low traffic) walk to the main harbour (food/drinks, sunset, seafront, walking path), facilities as advertised

喜欢 We love this campsite and so pleased it's open again for the season. Very basic (a single compost loo and a tap) but such a wonderful location and always manages to lift your spirits. Cheap as chips!

不喜欢 It's a bit slopey so choose your spot. Less nettles than last year and now a bit of phone signal!
