Gamlins Farm Touring Park

喜欢 My friends and I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend and throughly enjoyed ourselves! The facilities were immaculate and the owners were so friendly and welcoming! The campsite is in such a beautiful spot and so well maintained it was easy to make yourself comfortable! We’ve stayed here twice now and will 100% be back!

喜欢 Excellent wardens, Lisa and Woody gave a very friendly welcome and continued to be very friendly and personable all holiday, definitely a great asset to the site. Facilities were excellent, well cleaned and exactly what was required!

不喜欢 Some noise from bored children, but it was the school holidays!!

喜欢 Wow, fantastic site with excellent hosts. Facilities are exceptional clean, with a few added extras. Laundry and WiFi at no extra cost. Site very quiet, great place just to chill and relax. Thank you both so much. We will be back ❤️

喜欢 Overnight stay. Great facilities, nice touches like shower gel and toothpaste in shower in case you forgot to pack, clean and tidy. Helpful and friendly hosts.

喜欢 One of the most friendliest welcomes we have ever had arriving at a campsite.
Lovely clean and well set out site, we had a sunny flat pitch, toilets were just lovely very clean and nice touches.
Our stay was very relaxing lovely views, enjoyed the surrounding area, the Globe pub down the road was fabulous too.

喜欢 Immaculately clean wash block, friendly and helpful owners, secure site with locked gates and onsite 24 hour staff (always something that I prioritise when booking sites as I travel alone with my children), great views, reliable wifi and a site that will forever be known by my children as the one with the great hammocks!

不喜欢 Nothing that I disliked but pitch was rather small and bland…I presume over time hedges will be grown to add character and partitioning to the pitches. A small shop for essential provisions would be a nice addition.

喜欢 The friendly welcome and tour of the facilities when we arrived.
Quiet campsite
Clean toilet block with helpful local information on the walls
Not too busy, never had to queue to use the toilets
Accepted 1 night stays, so perfect for a stop off on our way further south

不喜欢 Not really a dislike, but as we approached there was a sign for Gamlin Farm which didn't lead to the campsite, a sign directing to the Touring park at that point would have been really useful.

喜欢 The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The facilities were spotless and very well maintained. We really appreciated the thoughtful little touches that showed how much the hosts care about their guests. Having access to a washing machine was a bonus, and the site itself was lovely and peaceful. It’s also in a great location, close to things you might want to do or see. We will definitely be returning here – it was absolutely lovely.

不喜欢 The only downside for us was the extra charge for dogs. Normally this would put us off booking, as it feels unnecessary unless there are specific dog facilities like a wash station or dedicated dog field. That said, we are really glad we stayed as everything else was brilliant.

喜欢 Booked as an overnight stop from the East Midlands en route to Cornwall
Very warm welcome from the Team.
Clean toilet/shower blocks.
Lovely location.
Nice, small site with flat hard standing pitches.
Free Wi-Fi was great.
Very limited for the kids but we knew this when we booked, so it wasn’t important, the kids made their own fun using the hammocks that were at the top of the site.
