Moor Wood Campsite

喜欢 The site was beautiful with amazing views
It was spotlessly clean. Very welcoming

不喜欢 We were emailed prior to our arrival advising not to use the way the sat nav sends you. We used the alternative route.
We were in a 6 berth motorhome and the approach to the campsite was treacherous.
Very steep incline and very narrow roads
I feel this site is not suitable for larger caravans or motorhomes.
Also when trying to level the vehicle on the hardstanding pitch our wheels dug in making it impossible to level. We never completed our stay due to the above

We're sorry you felt the need to leave early! While we don't advertise to caravans due to the access, we've had plenty of larger motorhomes who haven't had any issues. We'll look into the hardstanding you were on to check for any problems, if you had mentioned you were having problems levelling before you left we could have moved you to one of our concrete pitches. Again, we're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay and thanks for the feedback!

喜欢 Absolutely lovely place views are amazing and not far from minehead toilets and shower block really clean lovelyfamily who run it and really freindly definitely will be returning

喜欢 Friendly welcome on arrival.
Stunning views - best I've seen for along time.
Site wardens were visible during the day checking around the site which was spotless.
Facilities were clean.

不喜欢 Not a dislike but just to be mindful. To have such fantastic views means the site is up high so there is a 1hr ish slow walk down and then back up from Minehead.

喜欢 Absolutely stunning view across Minehead.
Nice and peaceful with access to the costal paths and moors straight from the campsite and also down to Minehead.

Facility's clean and tidy, site well kept.
Will definitely be coming back and staying again.

喜欢 Lovely, friendly people. Well maintained, plenty of different options, with amazing view, or alternatively shady spots, which I used as it was incredibly hot when I was there.

The advantage to that being I had visits not only from the rabbit family and lots of birds, but also a lovely shrew came wandering around me while I was sat in my seat.

喜欢 Amazing views. Spacious pitches, we had the electric hardstanding, clean tidy easy to hook up. Toilets and showers where always immaculate, as was the waste disposal area. Walks are amazing from the camp, footpaths easy to access, some amazing views up the hill, wild exmoor ponies, cows, forest and views over the sea. Minehead is a lovely town, great shops, pubs, restaurants just a short walk or drive from camp. Owners are super friendly and really hard working. Honey we purchased in the office was the best ever. We will definitely be back next year. This is the best camp we have been too so far, didn't want to leave!!
