喜欢 Lovely small and quiet site. The toilets and showers were kept clean. The campsite manager was friendly and had a laid-back nature that made us feel welcomed. Despite being close to the town, the site felt lovely and secluded within nature.

不喜欢 Only dislike was having to find 20p coins for the shower and the water pressure in the woman's showers wasn't very good.

喜欢 Nice small site, Tom very friendly & helpful.
Pub just outside the gate.
Shower block looked ok, we used ours in the van.
Adult only site which is great.
Other reviews mentioned the gate, I was expecting this to be difficult to get in, it was not, unlock & drive in, so the site is secure at all time which I appreciate.
Would stay again.

喜欢 Location is great for walking in the West Mendips. Site is located behind a great pub, serving really good food and drinks.

不喜欢 Grounds are a bit shabby and untidy and need a dose of TLC to meet their potential. The pitch up description is of a site 'full of flowers', I looked for them and found only one fading flower in a planter full of dead twigs

喜欢 The surrounding area and the site itself was very nice with lovely countryside and is situated close to wells Glastonbury and cheddar also there is a very nice pub at the entrance to the car park that does excellent food

不喜欢 I wouldn't say I disliked the showers but they could be a bit larger inside the cubicles for drying and dressing and the toilets where kept very clean

喜欢 Good communication with the site pre arrival and were also greeted on arrival.Convenient location between Wells and Cheddar.
The site gate was locked for security which was good.Electric hookup.
Lovely quiet site despite being relatively near a road
and the Rodney Stoke Inn.The food at the Inn was very good.
Facilities very clean.
Other site users were considerate and also quiet after 10pm.
We would definitely stay again

The site is at the bottom of the car park for the Rodney Stoke Inn. Customers with caravans and motorhomes are advised not to let a satnav direct you down New Road (which leads from the gliding club to the bottom of Draycott village), as this road is dangerous for large vehicles and towed units and it is likely to cause damage to your vehicle. Instead it is better to approach on the main road from either Axbridge or Wells.

The seaside town of Weston-super-Mare (35 minutes) makes a popular day trip for a romp through local history at the Weston Museum, a poke around the Helicopter Museum and a stroll down the Grand Pier, or you can board a paddle steamer for a cruise along the Severn Estuary and Bristol Channel. Fans of city-based doings can easily get to the buzzy quayside restaurants and indie shopping scene of Bristol (50 minutes) – while heritage devotees should head for Bath (45 minutes) for its renowned Thermae Bath Spa, remains of Roman baths, the Jane Austen Centre and year-round festivals.
