Portesham Dairy Farm Campsite

喜欢: The pitch was well marked and easy to find. Everything was spotlessly clean with powerful hot showers. This was our first ever caravanning adventure and this made it all very easy for us. Really well located and reception were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

喜欢: The park was well laid out, good size level pitches, staff on hand if needed , although we didn’t need them , toilet and shower blocks were exceptionally clean, and modern , overall a well planned and thought out site

不喜欢: Would be nice if there were more designated walks but it wasn’t really a problem

喜欢: Good tent pitch, friendly people, good showers. Nice place between West Bexington and Osmington Hills on the inland Coast trail.

不喜欢: The time of the shower is nice after a long walk but a lot of waist of the water.

喜欢: Beautiful site, well organised amazing facilities and staff couldn’t do enough for us. I have a disability and the facilities suited me well. Situated in a gorgeous village with shop, cafe and a pub serving great meals just a few minutes walk away.

喜欢: Really good facilities, friendly staff, lovely guests. Excellent local farm shop and cafe. Very understanding site manager - we had a spider infestation on our roof bag which took ages to clean out and it made us very late for packing away and leaving the pitch but the site manager was very understanding.

不喜欢: Slept about 4 hours each night because the colony or crows and their nests just above our pitch. Extremely loud calling noises from adult crows and chicks starts from around 4am and continues till around 9pm. Ruined our stay. It appeared that the campsite management have allowed this to happen - with at least 20 nests in trees right above our pitch and a few other pitches. But most of the other areas on the site didn't have this problem and instead they got beautiful bird sounds! I'm afraid I won't be coming back to this site. It's such a shame because everything else about it was great! Sleep is crucial and we only got a few hours each night.

We do apologise about the Rookery - Unfortunately, this is beyond our control due to wild bird protection. If this was reported on the first day to Reception, we would have done our best to move you to a different pitch. As most people, who have camped in that area of the site, seem to have not been too bothered, we do not know the ones that are until reported to Reception or told when we make our rounds each evening to make sure that all are ok or any issues. We do hope that you will change your mind and return for another stay on another part of the campsite as you were happy with the facilities, staff and local area.

喜欢: Very well kept site. Clean, friendly staff, lots of space. Showers were sensors so you could shower freely. Toilets were impeccable 👌. Loved the fresh milk from the vending machines and the fresh orange juice 😋. Will definitely be returning. Level pitches.

喜欢: Helpful staff, exceptionally clean facilities, good layout of pitches. Lovely dog exercise field. Really good vending machines if needed. We will return 😃

喜欢: We asked to be placed in a quiet area and we were - thank you so much !!! Facilities always clean and despite thinking there wasn’t many for what turned out to be a busy site - there was no waiting for showers. Our first time out in parents motorhome for 23 years (used their vans a lot pre-kids) and your site didn’t disappoint.

不喜欢: The rooks/crows!!!! Quiet time they need to be dealt with ( we are from a game keeping family ) !!!

喜欢: Whole site and facilities are kept in perfect condition and spotless. Staff are very helpfull and went above and beyond to solve problems. Great that buses stop 100 yards from the site

不喜欢: For me the pitches are a bit too close
