You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

喜欢: Wash rooms clean and well maintained. Each individual room has its own toilet, sink and shower. Shop well stocked with all sorts. Gravel pitch ideal as grass was still a bit soft due to heavy rain. Lovely site, I did not use bar/restaurant during stay but it looked very nice. Used local bus from top of lane into Weymouth. I would recommend this site and will consider returning in future.

喜欢: Staff most welcoming and very helpful , shop well stocked with essential items and camping gear. Showers and toilets immaculate. The restaurant we didn’t use this time , but highly recommend from other times at east fleet .

不喜欢: Flashing tube in toilet block .

喜欢: Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Well stocked shop. Clean showers and toilets. Serviced motorhome pitch.

不喜欢: Narrow road between pitches made it difficult to park without going on the grass. As it was a quiet time of year, the campsite could have spaced the caravans and motorhomes out more.

喜欢: Lovely place, overlooking the sea. Showers and toilets were lovely. The restaurant served some nice food, a little more expensive but you'd expect that on a campsite. It closed a bit early, 9pm, but maybe that was because it was early in the season.

不喜欢: Many of the pitches sloped quite a bit but the lovely lady on reception moved us to a pitch that was a little more level.

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
