You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

喜欢 The size of the pitch was great.
The showers were good, with motion activation.
The dog leash free field led to a high observation exercise, stunning views, bit watch out for the ground cracks.
The food served in the bar was delicious!

不喜欢 The taps in the toilet block, hard to use, little water dispersed once you can activate them.
According to my husband the motion activation lights in the men’s toilets does not register if you are sat on the toilet in the cubicle, leaving you literally in the dark.

喜欢 Everything. The staff were wonderful. The shower blocks amazing, you have your own shower room to yourself and the views over the lagoon are fantastic. It really was a wonderful find.

喜欢 All good the site was clean and tidy despite its size. The shop was very well stocked with all the essentials
all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly , The toilet block with individual shower ,toilet and sink was very well thought out for family's/ Disabled .
As we have a dog having a glorious part of the South Coast path on the doorstep was a big bonus

喜欢 The grass all round the site is superb, and it's mown with a machine that collects the cuttings so you don't get grass in the tent. It looks like Wimbledon on the first day! No idea what they do to keep it that nice.

Toilet blocks (new and old) are decent with warm showers and are kept clean.

On-site pub is great, and saves going out to find local pubs or restaurants. Very good value too.

Shop is brilliant. Again very good value for the bits and pieces you need when camping or caravanning. Amazingly, some things there (e.g. windbreaks) are cheaper than Amazon! And flapjacks for a pound - Wow.

不喜欢 A lot of the camping pitches are sloping which makes things a bit difficult (orienting the tent so you don't roll out of your airbed).

A lot of the taps in the toilet block run on for ages. This must be wasting so much water. I do hate those "press and wait" taps, but can understand why sites have them.

喜欢 This camp site was like a bresh of fresh air. The park it's self was well kept, staff friendly and eager to help. A park on site where the kids could go off and play. Heated shower rooms, shop and restaurant / bar on site. Local shops and take aways within 2/5mins drive. We had alot of strong wind and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was ok. Pitches had plenty of space. This place deserves 10 ⭐ we loved it so much we booked again for next year before we had even left the site.

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
