喜欢: We love it here great shower and toilet block, always have been ( returning campers ) flat and soft grass. The provide bricks for bbq and the games shed is so cool. On-site little shop and very close to the beach like 15 mins drive less than 6 miles. Love it here will deffo come back. Also hosts are so nice.

喜欢: Lovely clean site, brilliant facilities. Toilets were clean and plenty of them. Showers were great and got really warm. Nice quiet site with plenty for the kids to do with a playground and a goal. Easy and close reach to all the local attractions including the wonderful beaches. The staff who run the site are amazing, kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back.

喜欢: Clean showers and toilets and plenty of hot water. Nice catering van, and enjoyed having another site close by with entertainment

不喜欢: Allocated pitches which wasn't mentioned when booking. Travelled as a group and was only by luck we were put together then we weren't allowed to have tents facing each other - had to have them in a line in the allocated spaces.

当地景点

After a wander round Weymouth, make for Chesil Beach (20 minutes' drive), a narrow and wild spit of land that’s more like an airstrip. From here, hike the South West Coast Path down to Portland Bill and its lighthouse; you’ll bag sights of half a dozen castles and forts along the way. Alternatively, go east around the coast for about half an hour, taking in Lulworth Castle then dipping down to the blue waters, white pebble beach and wacky rock formations of Lulworth Cove, a prime spot for rockpooling as well as filling up the photo album. If it’s windsurfing, kayaking round the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast or paddleboarding you're seeking, Weymouth has a good handful of hire shops and schools, with more round the coast at Charmouth (40 minutes). The beach there is a brill spot to get the kids fossil hunting; head into nearby Lyme Regis (45 minutes) to learn about the billion years of history that created the coast and to see some fab fossil treasures. There’s more history to be had at Dorchester a 20-minute drive away, from a Roman amphitheatre to a Neolithic henge and an Iron Age fort. To meet your ancestors (in a manner of speaking) go see the antics at Monkey World, half an hour from the site, or monkey about yourself on the slides, flumes and chutes of Splashdown Waterpark, an hour away in Poole.
