On the hunt for a pretty and peaceful base for an Isle of Purbeck break? Bullshorn Camping could well be the place – this small and friendly site has an adults-only setup that’s just the ticket for couples and solo travellers looking to unwind in this gorgeous part of the world. Walkers and cyclists are particularly well served at this Dorset spot, with lots of quiet trails running through the surrounding area and the chance for a seaside stroll on the South West Coast Path close by too. Beaches, historic sights and the many attractions of the Jurassic Coast are all within striking distance too, and getting around should be nice and easy thanks to the bus stop just by the site. Swanage (five minutes’ drive) is your nearest town, with a beach and heritage railway as well as lots of lovely places to eat and shop. Barbecues and campfires are permitted back on site, so you may like to pick up suitable supplies while you’re there – although there is a pub half a mile away if that’s more your scene. The emphasis here is on creating a calm atmosphere for a chilled-out break, so facilities have been kept to just the essentials in the form of smart modern toilets and showers; no noisy bar or anything here.

喜欢 Our first ever camping trip, the site was easy to find. It’s not too big and the facilities are great. Clean hot showers and clean toilets.

喜欢 A gem of a campsite. Lovely location with an amazing view over the Dorset Hills. Facilities brand new and super clean. The site is walking distance from a pub too! Everyone was very quiet and respectful, and the owners were lovely.
One of my favourites, will be back.

If you want to get food on the way there is a lidl approximately 3 miles before the campsite and a garage close by

喜欢 Really lovely, chilled campsite. Simple set-up, basically just a big field with camping tending to be just at the edges. Nathan and Jane were great hosts. Very friendly. Toilets and showers were really good. Clean, proper toilets and showers, water pressure and temperature in shower were fantastic and no tokens or payment needed.

不喜欢 Could do with one or two more drinking water taps and washing up stations (there was only one tap and one washing up station, with only cold water) but that's my only very very small complaint. In fact it's not even a complaint!

喜欢 Everything about it. Very quiet and relaxed no children so no footballs!
Lots of flat pitches. Easy to level out on any other ones toilet and showers nice and clean. One of the best campsites I've been too for a lovely peaceful break.will definitely be going back .

不喜欢 Slight negative but not an issue would be nice for the toilets to be male or female not mixed
