Stoke Barton Farm Campsite

喜欢: What an absolute gem of a campsite! Beautifully clean, wonderful hosts, perfect location for walking & exploring. Huge pitches catering for everyone. Views towards die for with stunning sunrises & sunsets. Had a great stay in my beloved Bongo 🚐👌🏻❤️. Highly recommend 😀.

不喜欢: Nothing to dislike whatsoever.

喜欢: The entire site is very well maintained and a credit to the owners.
Ample space to pitch with a very helpful map provided at reception to show the different fields and amenities available.
Lovely modern toilet block and washing up facilities. Always found them clean and well stocked - they are checked on a regular basis throughout the day & evening.
Great information room and indoor rest area. A lot of thought has gone into the needs of long distance walkers.
Access to the Coast Path is quick & easy with permissive routes direct to camp site.

不喜欢: Nothing ... not even the distance to shower block, which has come under criticism on previous reviews. With the benefit of more space on a large site you have to expect a longer walk to amenities.

喜欢: A lovely site, plenty of space and good variety of spaces to set up in. Very friendly staff. Immaculately clean facilities with plenty of hot water on tap. Access to lovely walks around the coast. And skylarks singing all day!

不喜欢: Quite a long walk to the showers from our spot.

喜欢: Friendly owners made me feel welcome.
A nice barn area with sofas and tea making facilities which is great if the weather is inclement when you are in a tent. Highly recommended.

喜欢: - Campsite was clean and spacious.
- Fields have been left with a wild area in the middle (great fun for the kids to play and hide and also for wildlife!)
- Ablutions were immaculately clean and restocked several times a day!! 😊
- Showers were always hot.
- Owners were very friendly and made you feel welcome.
- Chill out zone with sofas, charging points, freezer and tea/coffee (honesty box for the beverages)
- Small shop on site (just opened so will get more stock in 😊).
- Right on south west coast path!
- stunning views and sunsets!
- Lovely walks to the village and hartland quay.

不喜欢: NO DISLIKES, just some suggestions….

- could do with another shower block.
- could do with another ablution and wash up block in the other fields.
- showers could do with having the push button time increased and different shower heads.

Re suggestions...Another shower block would be great but it is a big rented farm and site so a tad out of reach for us. We could definitely run to new shower heads though and will put those on the ' to do ' list
