喜欢 Spacious pitches. Very clean and tidy.
Toilets were spotless.

不喜欢 Unfortunately the stock of croissant for my grandchildren's breakfast was low because it was near the end of the season which we understood.

不喜欢 It was late in the season when we went, so the site was starting to look tired - long grass was a bit of an issue. Showers were not great, no sign of much fresh produce in shop but I’m guessing that earlier in the year it would have all been better. A couple of issues which would stop us from going again. Only one footpath access in and out of the site which is long and quite steep in places down to the road by the castle. Didn’t bother taking bikes as the main driveway in, not recommended for walking on, is very rough and the main road is very fast with no pavements. The nearby coastal path is quite rough and is collapsing in places. Nearby cafe closes at 4pm. Local pub is very good but is along an unlit pavement. Only saw one part-time member of staff who was friendly enough.

We close at the end of September and due to the drought we have experienced (and are still officially in drought) we are trying to not cut the grass as often to give it the best chance of reviving itself ready for next season. So a weekly cut is the maximum at the moment. The shop always keeps basics - eggs, bacon, milk, butter, cheese and a range of dried gorceries - tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, pasta, biscuits, chocolate, ice creams and freshly baked rolls - however being a small uncommercial site we are not able to offer a fully stocked supermarket style shop.

We recommend people to only use the one footpath on and off the site and yes it is quite steep - the amazing views we command from being high above the sea and harbour does mean that there is an incline down to the sea.

The little cafe is open longer hours in the main season but it is not economically viable to stay open later in the low season.

The main driveway, footpath and the SW Coastal Footpath are all suffering from the drought and then torrential rains that happened on one night. We will be making good the driveway as soon as we close and I am sure the SWCF caretakers will make good their national route as soon as they are able.
The road to the pub is unlit and as we live in a rural area I hope that it remains unlit in the future to avoid urbanising the area and polluting the wonderful dark skies that we are so lucky to enjoy here in Exmoor.

We would love it if you came back to visit our little uncommercial site maybe in May or June when the days are longer and everything is open and running to full.

喜欢 Amazing views!! Staff were helpful, we were initially directed to a plot under trees but it felt dark and dreary but it was no trouble to relocate to a new spot… thank you. Toilet and shower block was clean and tidy. We were warned of the sharp turn when coming from Combe Martin but were able to turn in a lay by near Hele

不喜欢 Showers could do with being a bit more powerful and perhaps have a longer run before you press the button again. Access road was very bumpy

Our showers are impacted by the water pressure but are warm and clean. We have to ensure times spent in showers are kept to a minimum due to the heavy demand on water in the area and the drought conditions that we have been under this season. Little Meadow tries to be low impact on the environment and as environmentally friendly as possible.

The torrential rain did cause potholes in the driveway.

喜欢 Lovely views and beautiful surroundings. Site has good facilities, with clean and tidy showers and toilets. Really friendly team.

不喜欢 Pitch was well used with muddy patches, which was made worse with the rain and subsequently vehicle and awning got really mucky.

喜欢 Lovely little campsite. Great for walking the coastal path. Toilets, showers and whole site are lovely and clean and a little shop on site. Great views and you are left to get on with it. Not overcrowded and plenty of space. Thanks for the stay

Our uncommercial campsite isn’t top spec. We try to offer six months of camping on a low impact, environmentally friendly site being as light as we can on the rural farm location. We believe that the site is kept tidy, clean and offers everything you need in order to camp in a responsible attempt at not impacting the planet.

喜欢 the views were awesome. we liked the castle next door.a good day out.bus service was good.not realy much wrong with the site clean toilets and showers.

不喜欢 pitches are on a slight slope.nothing realy bad. would take leveling device next time. not much in the shop.but it was out of season.
