Peaceful and scenic surroundings, a cosy place to stay, countryside views with no interruption… and, best of all, your own lovely covered outdoor hot tub area for admiring the views. Yep, it’s likely you’ll love it at Gratton Hideaway. This small Devon glamping site is part of a 3.75-acre smallholding that includes a hobby vineyard, a cider orchard and a fruit and veg garden. Countryside views combined, it's lovely and rural. You’ll be staying in a handcrafted shepherd’s hut that's been fully kitted out with bedding and towels, along with mains electricity and water. Each one has a cosy seating/dining area, a lovely shower room and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster (plus all the crockery, cutlery and glasses you’ll need). Speaking of glasses, it's a fine idea to fill one and head out to your private outdoor area, which has a hot tub. This spot (about 15 minutes’ drive from Holsworthy) is an excellent one for exploring north Devon and over the border into Cornwall. Walking trails snake through the countryside and it’s about a 20-minute drive to the South West Coast Path for seaside strolls. Gorgeous beaches like Bude and Westward Ho! are within easy reach – and the area has plenty of places to eat.

喜欢: We had an amazing time. Stayed for 2 nights but didn't want to come home.
Was entertaining climbing the ladder to get into bed after a few vodkas.
Hot tub was so relaxing

喜欢: This was just perfect. The hut, the hot tub, the setting was just gorgeous. Sarah added lots of extras inside the cabin, which included tea, coffee, milk, shower gel etc. I would highly recommend these huts and would love to return sometime in the future.

喜欢: Clean, peaceful, private in beautiful surroundings. Beautifully set out hut with everything you needed. Friendly and accommodating owners who couldn’t do enough for us and kept in touch throughout to see if we were ok and needed anything!

Google Maps will bring you exactly to the site. If you are using a Satnav, please use the postcode EX22 7DH. This may just bring you only to the road – from Milton Damerel village, continue over the bridge and up the hill, where the site is on the left-hand side. Please park in the car park next to the vineyard. The lanes to the site are typical of north Devon: winding and narrow with high hedgerows on either side. There are plenty of places to pull in but please take care when going around the bends.
