喜欢 Everything.
I went for a quiet time, and that's what I got. I went with just myself and my dog for some rest and recuperation. I was on the hard standing motorhome pitch. We had a bench to ourselves and a view of trees and a birds chorus throughout the day.
Rachal was attentive and checked we had everything we needed, she's lovely and polite, a real pleasure to chat with!
The shower was clean and tidy, as we're the toilets and washing up areas.
There's a lovely stream, with areas to go for a little splash at the edge of the campsite.
There are fire pits available and bags of hardwood to buy from the campsite. The wood was nice and dry, and lasted ages!

There's a little village shop 5 mins away of you forget anything. It has all the basics, I R you can head back towards crediton for more complexed items to the Tesco's.

The campsite is well labeled and easy to find. As soon as we arrived Rachel came out to show us around and help us settle in.

There is no WiFi or signal, I recommend downloading offline maps on Google. There's signal as you go left out the campsite and about a 1/2 mile on top of the hill if you need it.

喜欢 a magical little dell - fairy lights lit our way - a beautiful and quiet little dog called layla - greeted us with her human friend chris - very friendly and welcoming- everything was quiet and calm and the shower was hot - perfect stop over to break the journey from london to cornwall

喜欢 We've stayed at Little Harford a few times now and it's always such a lovely trip! The campervan pitch is spacious and easy to navigate into, close (but not too close) to the loos, shower & washing up facilities. The campsite is small, tranquil and Rachel the host is really welcoming. You can hear lovely birds every morning as you're surrounded by lots of wonderful trees. We love the eco campsite nature of the site - compostable loos, warm solar showers, and leave no trace take your rubbish with you. Really dog friendly too and our pooch loved roaming around through the bluebells and daffodils, exploring the little stream at the bottom of the site. Overall if you want a peaceful friendly campsite on the edge of Dartmoor then this is the one!

喜欢 loved the warm welcome we received from Rachel throughout our stay. Was extremely impressed with the special touches in the pod we wanted for nothing during our stay, very well equipped with fire lighters, camping stove and gas which was all supplied as part of your stay. Loved the camp mascot Layla the spaniel who kept us company during our stay!

喜欢 This is the last review I am going to give. The issue is if it gets too busy I might not get a pitch when I need it.

Want to touch grass, off grid, no phone, no Internet. This is the site for you.

As a woodland site, the pitches are private

Please don't ask for Hawthorn, that is my personal gotto.

喜欢 Secure, safe and private camping, well thought out camping pitches to keep tent dry and private own space. The gorgeous sound of the birds and the stream was a bonus. A great campsite. Clean compost toilets, well looked after. Child and dog friendly. Very friendly and extremely kind hosts. Would return again!

不喜欢 Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer.

喜欢 Lovely quiet off the grid campsite. The host and her friends/family are magnificently welcoming and helpful.
Great location to explore both Exeter and Dartmoor (by car)
