喜欢 What a fabulous relaxing couple of days we had, everything you needed to hand, the hot tub was fantastic . It was so peaceful, just the birds and the trickling of the little river just below the cabin.

喜欢 We had a wonderful stay at Owl Valley in their bell tent 'Short Eared'. The tent came with everything you could need, our own outside kitchen, fire pit, picnic table
and compost loo n shower.
The owners had decorated the area as it was my sons birthday whilst we were there. So very generous.
The lift of our stuff from the car park to the tent was very much appreciated!

We loved the quiet private nature reserve by a babbling stream but only a short drive to Bideford, shops and beach.

The kids loved the rope swing by the stream.

Steves shack had lots to entertain guests from a pool table to a piano to books n games. The honesty shop had many things if you run low.

不喜欢 Very hard to find anything we disliked as its such a lovely place.

Obviously you dont have mobile signal/WiFi which is great for peace n quiet. If you need to contact owner you need to be offsite where you get a signal. We ran low on sawdust but when we messaged he was very quickly filled up for us - thank you!

Also very minor the tent instructions mentioned a freezer in the honesty shop. Tried to find it but actually didn't need to as the owner very kindly changed the freezer packs every day in the provided cool box. Thank you!

喜欢 We liked everything! It's rare I say that about a place but there was genuinely nothing we didn't like. It's is in a beautiful setting and run by the most friendly and helpful people. We stayed in Barn Owl cabin which was well equipped. The hot tub was cleaned and heated daily, and the freezer block were replaced with out us even noticing. The cabin was warm and cosy and the compost toilet never smelt. Our son loved the games cabin and rope swing and there was a cute little honesty shop.

喜欢 We stayed in the Bell tent, and it was comfortable and cosy. Enjoyed having a personal kitchen and hot shower. Loads of wildfire in the valley, and it's peaceful even though you're so close to the local town. Great idea to have a games/pool shack for the unpredictable British weather! Hope to visit again soon.

喜欢 Everything! The woods are beautiful and the stream running through the site brings it together. Hosts were fantastic and we were accommodate to for every need. Even has a fantastically hot out door shower.

喜欢 Amazing site and hosts. Everything had been so carefully thought of making the stay brilliant and so easy. We stayed in the dome and it was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed. The wood-fired hot tub was incredible - we used it every evening while listening to a cacophony of owls! The site itself was stunning - hidden away so you can only hear the birds and the stream and with hidden places for the kids to explore. We loved the small shop! We’re planning our next visit there and can’t wait to go back.

喜欢 It was exactly what we wanted. For one, no phone service so the teenager was forced to socialise lol, but also ment we felt fully away from it all. The hut was the perfect size for four, and lovely and warm on a rainy February. Chris had already lit the fire for the hot tube when we arrived and it was the perfect temperature. The kitchen had all you could need to cook and was covered enough to keep the rain out. The bathroom was very clean.

喜欢 We absolutely loved staying here. Lots of freedom for children and ours loved exploring the forest and games room. The tree swing was a bonus also. Such a cute, off grid find and we will definitely be back. Chris was so kind and helpful. Thank you

喜欢 We had an absolutely wonderful time! Would highly recommend. Chris and the team were brilliant and very accommodating.

When we arrived, Chris met us in the car park. He drove our luggage down to the hut on his quad bike to save us carrying it (the carpark is a 5-10 min walk from the accommodation).

The accommodation was amazing! The hut was clean and had all of your essentials for a cosy night away from reality. There were board games available to play, there was a private hot tub on the decking and if that's not enough the quiet, secluded location made stargazing feel extra special. There were Plenty of blankets and hot water bottles available. We used them late evening to sit outside and watch the stars. Our 9 year old loved spotting the shooting stars!
When we arrived Chris had already started the fires for us so the cabin was warm and the hot tub was ready to go! There is plenty of wood included to keep things going but more available on site to purchase.
We had burgers for tea in the evening and used the gas grill but there is also a bbq available to use. There are all of your basic kitchen essentials provided. Pans, plates, cutlery, cups and glasses. There is also a kettle.

On site there's an entertainment room with a piano, pool table, dart board, books and games.

The honesty hut had a range of essentials and was a 2 minute walk. We used this to top up on the wood several times so this was super convenient!

There is no electricity, internet or phone signal which made a lovely change and really did give us a break from the every stresses of normal life.

Really would highly recommend! We will 100% be returning.
