By a road but mostly really quiet
The shop onsite sells lots of great things-especially the bacon and eggs which we enjoyed for breakfast
Big and flat pitches
A big area where the kids can play and they enjoyed the football net
Owners are just amazing, so friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble for them.
We all had a great time

喜欢 Lovely, quiet spot. Friendly owners. Fabulous beef burgers from the farm. Lovely woodland opposite.

不喜欢 Having to open the awkward gate everytime we went to the toilet/washing up/leaving the campsite. I struggle with a bad shoulder so this wasn't ideal for me.

喜欢 So peaceful, quiet and not over populated. No light pollution. Very quiet at nighttime. Found it very calming place to stay. Off the beaten track with woodland walks right next door.

喜欢 Lovely site. Great owners who couldn’t do enough for you. Checked in to make sure we were ok after a couple of days, nice greeting on arrival. Let us change to a grass pitch which was really welcomed. Cooked food on the weekend in the on site trailer. Shop on site, good facilities. Plans to upgrade in future.
Would recommend this place, great at night for star gazing, woodland walk across the road. Very good stay overall
They even had games on site for the kids, balls, badminton etc nice touch.

喜欢 The owners are really nice! We asked to be pitched next to our friends which was accommodated. The toilets and showers where always clean and tidy even though site was busy. You can also see the shower/toilet block from all the pitches which was perfect for the older children that wanted to go on their own as I could still keep an eye on them. Typically one of the children wet the bed on the first night but there was a washing machine and dryer onsite which was a life saver! There was a football goal and badminton net in the middle of the field where all the children there played.
Would definitely visit again, Thank you!

喜欢 Loved the site its self.
The children had lots of fun with the footballs and net.
Handy little shop selling basic food and drink and then the takeaway selling hot food was great.
Toilet and shower facilities were clean and never run out of toilet roll!
Lovely forest for exploring.

不喜欢 Not a dislike as such but the washing up facilities are outside luckily we had the weather on our side but maybe something to look to in the future.

喜欢 The owners were so welcoming and extremely helpful and accommodating! They went above and beyond for my sister and I .. as we weren’t as prepared as we’d thought!
The new shower/toilet block was fantastic and clean. The site is well maintained and spacious. Just a fabulous trip that the site was a big part of !
The food was amazing as well ! Proper meat and freshly cooked!

喜欢 Site is located near the border of Cornwall, excellent for day trips and sightseeing.
Lovely clean spacious pitches. Ample facilities with a rustic charm which are kept spotlessly clean.
Lovely farm shop with delicious sweet treats and the tastiest meats for the bbq!
Without a doubt, the best thing about the campsite is the wonderful hosts. Peter and Emma were so welcoming, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay, literally couldn't wish for better hosts, genuinely lovely people!
We will definitely be back to stay again! Loved it!

喜欢 Everything! Peter and his wife were amazing hosts, making the three of us feel welcome and at home, they had great local knowledge with places off the beaten track to visit, although if you wanted a day without travelling there is a forest across the road to explore and a small goal and badminton net on site with balls etc. The site, even fully booked, was still peaceful. The pitches are huge and even the biggest tent would do well to fill one. The small farm shop was a nice addition selling mostly meat from the farm. The toilet/shower block was clean and there was always loo roll and hand soap available. Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely return in the future ☺️ thank you!
