Wake up in a comfy bed, have a peaceful breakfast surrounded by the sounds of nature and then wander over to the coast… well, that’s the dream, isn’t it? Actually, it’s also a very realistic option at Beersheba Farm, a gorgeous Cornwall woodland hideaway 10 minutes’ drive from St Ives and around a mile and a half's walk from Carbis Bay beach for your coastal fix. There’s heaps of space around the glamping pods here (five acres of fab wildlife-filled space, in fact) and a nifty design feature allows you to open up the sides of the pod so you can lie in bed to gaze up through the leafy canopy at the sunrise/sunset/stars beyond or set your sights further with glimpses of the bay and Godrevy Lighthouse. Inside each pod is a comfy sleeping space, LED lighting and USB charging points; cosiness is ensured with an insulated roof, carpet underfoot and warm panelling. It’s the outdoor space where you’re likely to want to spend much of your time, though – each pod has a sheltered outdoor kitchen, a picnic table and a firepit with tripod grill for your alfresco feasts. A shared fridge and washing-up sink are nearby, and the site has fire-making materials to buy and lots of kitchen kit to hire. Given the gorgeous surrounds, it’s no surprise to hear that eco matters are taken seriously here. Each pod has its own smart and spacious dedicated washroom with a hot shower and a state-of-the-art waterless toilet (rigorously cleaned between bookings), either within the pod or a short woodland walk away.

喜欢 We loved our stay in the Wildflower Wood, the pod and kitchen area was so comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Andrew was really warm and friendly and made us feel welcome. We hope to come back next year!

喜欢 Loved the location, in the Wildflower wood, it's quiet and peaceful. It's 35 mins on foot from Carbis beach or you have access to local buses, train or taxis to visit St Ives, Hayle and other Cornish towns or beaches. At the farm, there are all the amenities that you need, your own shower, toilet and cooking area and shared wash up area and fridge. The hosts, Vicki and Andrew were very welcoming, kind and helpful. It was overall a very positive experience and I would return any time .

Private toilet and shower, very clean.
Peace and quiet, apart from one evening a couple of girls staying were playing music loudly until late, but that wasn’t the fault of the campground.
Comfy memory foam mattress.

Friendly camp hosts.

Saltings Eden Landpod 露营舱

喜欢 Our stay was absolutely brilliant! We stayed in the Saltings Eden Landpod, which was spacious, perfect for our family of four. Having our own private toilet and shower area was a huge bonus.
The environment was fantastic, and Andrew made us feel so welcome.
The location is super convenient too, being so close to the harbour and the beaches.
There's nothing we disliked about this place, our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! We'll definitely be back. The boys even said it their best camping experience yet, especially in terms of the environment, facilities, and location.

喜欢 We really enjoyed ou 10days at Beersheba, The hosts Andrew & Vicky were fantastic, shared local knowledge and best places to visit. Having 2 older teenagers they loved the woods, land pod, we had out own private bathroom and shower, which was lovely, very clean. Our land pod Gwithian was warm and cosy with 2 double beds and a sofa. We cooked most evenings at the campsite and had a log fire in the firepit provided. The local beaches were numerous and beautiful, very clean. I would highly recommend Beersheba, great hosts beautiful wild woods and great views of the coast, Accommodation was very clean and to a high standard, we will be returning.

喜欢 Everything! We were welcomed by Andrew as we arrived. The pod was simple but amazing, comfy and just what we needed. Wildflower Wood was beautiful. The kitchen was brilliant, the gas hob wasn't used much but was very handy for boiling kettles and heating beans for the kiddos. The fire pit and cooking rack was perfect for our needs. The shower was hot! Actually hot! Lovely!

不喜欢 I didn't 'dislike' anything, but I was a little worried the loo would be full before we left, with five of us using it :-/ it was fine though, if a little smelly.

Glimpses of the sea from the site mean that it’s likely your first port of call will be the coast… walk to the beach at Carbis Bay, a mile and a half away, or pack into the car for the 10-minute drive to St Ives or Hayle. The South West Coast Path is a tiptop option for lengthy sea-view hikes, and there are plenty of bike routes along this stretch of coast too. If you'd rather do a more rural walk, try going to Porthkidney beach or Lelant beach (both only accessible on foot) from the site. Got some other activities in mind? St Ives and Hayle have rich pickings of surf schools, kayak and paddleboard hire places and fishing trips, and pony treks around the farm and woodland can be organised with a stable half a mile away. St Michael’s Mount is a 15-minute drive south. The beaches are really rather lovely but there’s more to this part of the world than its coastline alone: artsy types will want to take wanders around the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and Tate St Ives (both 10 minutes’ drive), while animal-mad nippers might like to visit Paradise Park (10 minutes) to meet red pandas, pygmy goats and penguins and ride the Jungle Express train.
