Families and couples looking for a handy base for a Cornwall break – with attractions and amenities nearby and plenty to do on site – take a look at Little Bodieve Holiday Park. This family-oriented park is in an attractive rural spot just on the edge of Wadebridge (about a mile from the shops and eateries of the town centre) – and it’s also only a short drive from the A39 for easy travels. That location means you’ll have all sorts of options for your days out, whether you fancy hitting the north coast beaches, cycling along the Camel Trail, finding active days of golf, walks and watersports or checking out big attractions like the Eden Project, Tintagel Castle and Newquay Zoo. So that’s your time out and about sorted… but what about your time in? Well, there’s plenty to keep you busy here too – the site has a heated outdoor pool, a waterslide, crazy golf, a games room and a play area. And once you’ve all had your fill of all that, you can head over to the bar for a refreshing drink, or settle at a table in the restaurant for a meal; takeaways are available too for those times when you want your own space. In high season there’s also family-friendly entertainment to look out for. Practicalities are well looked after here too, with useful site amenities including a shop, a launderette and a chemical disposal point.

喜欢 Good, clean facilities in a good location, with plenty of space. Price reasonable.

不喜欢 The recycling bin was full and I could only find one, whereas there were lots of bins for general waste.

不喜欢 No one to tell us any information when we arrived could bring dog but not allowed in bar . Shop only opened for a couple of hrs . Heard dogs that were lefted in caravans barking in evening

喜欢 Plenty of room and lots of peace and quiet. Nice clean hot showers and well maintained grounds. Very nice helpful staff. And very reasonable prices.
Will definitely be back.👍👍

不喜欢 Maybe if the pool was open a little later on in the season,and the bar opened a couple more nights a week. And a hair dryer in the men's shower building But not really a complaint. Just an idea.

喜欢 Friendly welcome. Very well kept site. Plenty of room. Very clean toilet block etc. Good to have a dedicated dog walk area. The facilities of children looked very good.

喜欢 Space, well kept grounds. Staff were polite and friendly. Good location. Bus service outside the main gate. Fairly priced for what you get.

不喜欢 Can’t take the dog in the bar. Food in the bar was mediocre and over priced. Toilet/shower block dirty and dated. WIFI and tv reception not great.

Wadebridge is one of Cornwall’s main market towns, so it’s a handy place for shops and other amenities. It’s also at the mid-point of the Camel Trail, a traffic-free walking/cycling path along a disused railway line. Head north along the path to reach Padstow or south to Bodmin; both are around five miles away. Up on Cornwall’s north coast, you could take a walk along the South West Coast Path or head for one of the beaches – Polzeath (15 minutes’ drive), Mawgan Porth (25 minutes) and Newquay (half an hour) are all close by. Newquay also has the bonus of being home to a zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. For other family days out, try Camel Creek Family Adventure Park (15 minutes), Giant Slip and Slide Cornwall (15 minutes) or Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park (20 minutes). If you’re on a grownup break, perhaps think about Lanhydrock (15 minutes) or The Lost Gardens of Heligan (45 minutes). Something for all ages? Step into the world of King Arthur at Tintagel Castle or explore the plant-filled domes at the Eden Project (both half an hour).
